Thanks gobert! Yes, the mini is from the SMH set, got the whole box (and had all the limited minis in it too ). I actually don't know how much the marines tally atm, but I'm sure they are still just a chapter

Thanks Captain Brown! I use a 0,05 mm fine tip (someone recommended this on here) and it works quite well (if you let it dry properly, which on occasion I haven't )

And as is the way, they came on the battlefield, freshly painted and were wiped out by three shining spears before firing a single bolter shell

For MCP I ordered some 4ground terrain last year and assembled the first piece... pretty badly, need to be more careful next time. But for a broken down bus stop it looks good enough

Great adverts on that bus stop especially for Marvel love the armour colour on the sob.

Love the Terminator and bus shelter, but those Sisters are such a simple but cool kitbash.

Been staring at the bus stop for ages trying to figure out how it's broken down, then I realised, I haven't ever seen a bus stop that wasn't broken in some way...

Loving the bus stop - It's amazing how a small printed poster really makes a difference to the realism of these pieces.

Thanks ListenToMeWarriors! Although one suffers from really bad greenstuffritis The others I found angles so it mostly looks like the arms and hands fit together. But was glad to not waste the enforcer bodies.

Thanks Slinky! There were some posters with the terrain, but they looked not that interesting, so printing my one it was.

And at least one more miniature made it across the desk this month. My Living Saint kitbash from Ydra... Ynd... the Sigmar winged lady She's the end form of my canoness once my friend and me restart our crusade campaign that ground to a halt last year. Not entirely happy with the flag and the wings, but on the whole glad she's done now.







For May I will try to finally get my 5 Seraphim painted (they have been sitting for months now in the primed pile) and can use my four Repentia for the painting comp theme.

She's turned out cool. Digging the wings, and how well the backpack meshes with them.

Sweetness! The SMH terminator looks really cool in your colours as does the Stormcasts Sister. Her wings came out great. They look darker towards the bottom to me, is there a zenithal prime underneath the contrast?

Thanks gobert! Now I just need to find the motivation for his 4 brothers And nothing fancy going on with the saint, just primed her with Grey Seer, no zenithal used, just Contrast colors that faded out to the top.

And I hate how little hobby time I spent (the motivation eludes me, seeing how I have enough minis ready for gaming), but I'm planning to start Necromunda with our 4-man-group. I'll start with Orlocks, although a friend asked, why I didn't play Cawdor, if I'm already using Sisters and the church in 40k. So I need to speed through those biker gangers and find the funds to build some religious zealots
But seeing my glacial speed atm it could be some time. But at least the first Orlocks got some color. Not convinced about the method of priming black, than some white (spray and drybrush). Will probably prime the next ones differently.

Your Living Saint looks gorgeous... I love the conversion work, and your paint scheme continues to deliver awesome results. I'm really excited for your pivot to Necromunda!

Ooh, the orlocks look cool minis. The zenithal looks to have had something up with the white. To me it looks a bit speckled, was it the end of the can? The contrast looks good on the bloke to the right though a bit flat on the others

Thanks gobert! Yeah, it didn't work as I wanted and it was to light. The primers in themselves were good, but the grey one attached to lightly. We live and learn It's probably also why the colors look a bit flat, brighter white would work better with contrast. But the Orlocks will get a fast treatment in the future, can't be bothered more with them as with the Cawdor (as you will see at the end of this post ).

Thanks Guardling! Really excited for the game, looks cool rulewise and am currently looking to get all the "Book of" books so we have a good base for campaigns.

Not a lot has happened in June, but did those two minis for the painting comp. I love Discworld and for the theme "Underdogs" no one is more fitting than Fred and Nobby. Lovely sculpts based on the Paul Kidby drawings:








Have more sculpts ready, but seeing as they probably will not be used in a game, it's hard to find the motivation to paint them.

And nearly immediately lost motivation for Orlock after looking more closely at Cawdor. They are a much better fit for a Sister's player Got two boxes and the weapon pack and built the first eight minis:

Word-Keeper Malekai (Leader)


Deacon Vorbis and Amesbry (Champions)


Zebediah and Jebediah (love those polearm/gun weapons)


Noah and Joah (one will be a Juve)


Keturah (Ganger)


Really happy with them (even if they have lots of detail and layers of clothes). Their chose name is the Ordo Soror Amator, as they are big fans of my Sororitas. Hopefully no one gives either side a latin dictionary, could end in bloodshed

Really happy, will vary the colors a bit on all Gangers, but will always have colors of my Sororitas on them.

Liking the Discworld models, I too am a fan of the Kirby drawings, there's alway something to find in them...

I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett's Discworld too, I like what you did with the city watch's two "finest".

The highlighting and edging on Noah are first rate.

Necromunda guys look great, absolutely love The Watch minis. Poor Nobby Nobbs! He certainly looks like he was disqualified from the human race for shoving.

Not seen those Discworld models before - Very characterful!

And the first ganger is v nice, a group all painted like that will look ace

Love the Discworld minis, you don't see people painting them too often!

Ooh , the guard minis are fab! Great job painting them up, I love how Nobby has found the broken bit of the pavement too, seems fitting!

The Necromunda setup looks cool, good luck getting your gangs ready. You’ve made a great start on the Cawdor already

That whole discworld range is great fun, and you have done Nobby, Fred and The Watch justice.

Cool Cordor scheme as well, I really like the pops of colour on the different fabric on the minis.
