The Grinder is totally sweet, and totally has Iron Warriors Demon Prince written all over it. That said, I'd like to know what the fmek is up with it too.

I much prefer reading WD to NQ actually. More stuff, more batreps, cooler terrain tutorials, better showcases of figs, and no pictures of large men in pirate outfits.

Not only does GW give us a large man in a pirate outfit, but they also throw in manboobs as a part of the package.

I expect a cross between Blood Bowl and Dreadnought Arena Combat.

With the Power Attack rules, you could throw, slam, or push the ball without necessarily having to pick it up. You could also slam or throw it into enemy jacks. Could be cool.

I'm curious how big that base is.

There is a, a think, Galic game that involves pushing a large ball around a field to get it to your opponents goal. It involves up to a hundred people at a time and it seems as if this is going to be a Warmachine or Hordes version of that same game.

I don't care what it is, I want one!
I hope it's a game ball for Warjacks.
I laso hope that Rackham and/or Reaper will make a simmaler item and the GW does one in plastic.

Noone is forcing you to buy the spiky ball, either. You could convert your own quite easily.

I think I have an idea for a conversion...

I think this is one of the fabled "Pair" that you have to have to play Warmachine.

I honestly want to know what it is, but I was poking fun at the whole ominious "Turn in to NQ #xx to see!!"

It was also a partial poke at the PP fanboism.

Mostly though, it was just a question to see what it actually was.

I've got a great idea: Let's just play what we like and leave others to their own tastes. I'd suggest that if you don't like the product you don't buy it.
