I love snifflepiss. I wish they would make a games day mini for stuff that hasnt been visited yet. Where are the eldar, dark eldar, tau, SOB, etc minis? This is what? the fourth orc/k GD mini? Boring. The nice thing is, GW is saving me money, as I definatly DONT want that mini. But I still love the grumpy little snifflepiss. Reminds me of my sis when she was a kid.

I kind of like it actually. It's okay. Not amazing by any stretch, but I think it's okay. Not really much of an incentive to go to Games Day though....it could be a lot better.

I agree with Hordini, although I think last year's dwarf slayer was better.
It'd be nice if GW took the opportunity to make models that we'd never see under normal circumstances instead of things we already see. I wouldn't mind seeing a croneworld eldar, a fishman, etc. Instead we get... Space marine, another spacemarine, dwarf, orc, another orc, an ork, a dwarf!

Well in terms of sculpting quality this is much higher then the rather sloppy Slayer they had last year (if you don't think it was sloppy check out the back of the daemon's head and tell me that's a quality job!). Also, to be fair- I don't think you'd ever see that ork anywhere else- he's just standing there with his arms crossed- not much of a battle pose for an ork Plus it's cool that this guy could pass for an orc OR an ork. I agree that the snotling is crap though- at least it's marginally better then the horrid one they threw in with Skarsnikk.

it would be a nice wee mini-diorama to have the two of them facing in opposite directions, studiously ignoring each other. Or facing each other over a teeny tiny games table, glaring at each other over their conflicting interpretation of the wording on P347 of a rulebook - but you'd need some really small figures to model their armies...

He's straight up gangsta, plenty of room on those arms for tats. He would be cool posed on the deck of an Orc Hulk crewed by humie and pansy slaves, or posed beside a broke down chariot being repaired by a couple of gobbos. You could add a couple snotlings to distract the boars.

Interesting that you'd mention that because I carry a snotling when I go boar hunting for just that reason!

The conversion possibilities are pretty limited with his arms like that, but I dig the mini, its much better the the gamesday minis over the past few years are far as sculpting detail, and I have to admit I'm biased toward the greenskins, so I'll probably pick one up second hand at some point.

Yeah, things like THIS should be given away when you order white dwarf or something. Though I always hate when they give a really useful model at Gamesday. A few years ago they gave out a wolfpriest. That's the ONLY non-character wolf priest ever made, but did they make it available for general sale? No! Argh.

That Wolf priest was a horrible mini. This Orc is so so, Though the older Special Edition Orc (the Black Orc with with Great weapon above his head) was actually quite nice. Its a shame they didn't do something Empire, what with the new Army book and Mark of Chaos on the PC I figured a limited Warrior Preist of Sigmar would be right on. Right now GW don't seem to realise that they'e over saturated the Greenskins. Thats why none of the Orc Army deals in stores near me have sold. Everyone got a shed load of gobbos in Skull Pass, then even more gobbos (the same minis as skull pass) and orcs in the Orc Army release, then a limited Gobbo for WD subscribers, and now this GD mini. This Orc doesn't look menacing or tough he just looks like he's sulking "but boss why cant'z I eat a humie too? Urghutz gets plenty man flesh... It's not fair!" And yes Gary Morley is the satan of the GW studio. Why does he plague us all with such hideous sculpts. Have you seen the new LOTR Elladan and Elohir? By god the ones on foot look ridiculous.

Last year was a dwarf, I would have thought this year would be a 40k fig (space marine).
The ork is not a bad fig, and I play orks, at least its better than the dwarf who looks like hes taking a very satisfying pee.
My favorite GD fig yet was the Kroot figure. The only other one I found useful was the chaos warrior choking the elf. (Made for a nice conversion, ) and no! Choking the elf doesn't mean what it sounds like it means.

Posted By Tim on 01/08/2007 6:16 AM My favorite GD fig yet was the Kroot figure. I like Prok too, and it's actually the only GW fig that I haven't sold for $$ on eBay ... My favorite GD fig is probably the Ork nob with a foot up on a box or something, looking dead 'ard as he fires his shoota at stuff. Great character, and the one I never got - Boss Salvage
