My store ran out before I got there on Friday, and I won't make it
back out there. I'm learning stuff here and there but would like to
learn more!

The Formula P3 Range by Mike McVey. Five page article designed to sell the new P3 paints. A nice afrticle complete with a paint mixing cahrt.

Assembling the Bitzer. Three pages dedicated to stcking together your troll and that pygmy and gun thing on his back. Pretty basic filler

Grind. Twenty pages dedicated to this game. Essentially PP's version of Blood Bowl but using Warjacks. Looks interesting and the photos/art are extremely good but not sure I will bother my fat lazy ass and do this. Oh yes, one can by a Grind from PP's webstore. Maybe this is a this is a twenty page ad for their bitz shop???

The Great Dome of the Channels. Six pages on Cyriss. Good bit of fluff for general players and it also looks like great stuff for IK RPG players.

Guts & Gears looks at Trollkin Championsadn the Vanguard.

Thicker Than Blood. HORDES bonding rules. Five pages. I suspect this article will be in Evolution.

The Dark Empire's Legacy. A two player mini campaign for HORDES using the Bonding rules. Five pages.

The Wilding Way. Eight page mix of rules/fluff for Circle Druids in IK RPG.

Making the Best Better. A two page letter from Matt Wilson about Remix and why.

Foundry, Forge & Cruicible. Four page article for IK RPG with fluff and rules for Druid and Trollkin gear.

Inside the Official WARMACHINE League. Four page introduction to the leagues PP are planning this year.

US National Results. All the results from Gencon Indy last year.

For Faith and Valour. Tactics article.

Horde of the Stonecleaver. Privateer staff tactics - this issue it is Douglas Seacat and his Baldur firce.

Overall a good issue with plenty if useable stuff. Although I don't play IK RPG I do like reading the fluff from these articles. It is good that PP have put the HORDES bonding rules in this issue.

But most interesting is the letter from Mr Wilson. Most people would have heard ofRemix by now but in case you haven't:

It is a reprinting of Prime but in full colour, errata sorted and all the rules from Escalation, Apotheosis and Superiority are in the book. Sixmodels/units have changed:

Haley, Chain gun, field mechaniks, Sorscha, battle mechaniks and the Repenter?

Grind looks interesting, but as of right now, only Warjacks can participate. All of the Faction Warcasters are detailed with new "Grind Specific" spells and feats to use on the field. They don't actually participate on the field, they stand on the sideline, and all jacks on the field just count as always being in their control range.

Some of the other basic rules are different, the modifier for Slams is different, but I don't remember how. I think you only suffer a penalty to slam two handed if you are attacking a larger base now, or something. It's in there.

The only really silly part is the description of color schemes for "Home" and "Away" games. Yeah right, like I'm going to repaint my team every game, or better yet, I'll buy separate warjacks to paint different. NOT. I wonder if they realized how greedy that would appear in the magazine, or if they actually thought it was cool. Not really a big deal.

Grind does look like a lot of fun, enough to make me want to actually buy Warmachine figs now to play. (I only have Circle right now, and they do me just fine, but there are no Warbeast rules for Grind..grrr.)

Plus my group is on a blood bowl kick right now, so this should fit in perfectly.

I might just pick up Khador or Cygnar jacks for a team. Would be neat.

Before the PP site went down, I got to download the rules. They seem really cool.

My only issue is forming a team. The people I know at the local shop (not so local,
really) don't play Protectorate. Worth a shot, though!

I think my buddy's getting a copy, and will be making a copy for me.

I'm gonna pick up a copy this weekend, I hope. Grind looks pretty neat.

Grind is really fun, although it plays kinda slow. Although that may have been because we were learning the rules. I love what they did with the changes in Remix. I also liked Matt's letter, pointing out that PP's goal is a rule set as unambiguous as possible.

Did pick it up. Psyched for Remix, and grind looks interesting. Sadly, the thing about the Vanguard was probably my favorite article. Just makes me want one for Sam Horne and her Devil Dogs.
