€7,- per magazine is not the end of the world and IIRC the same price as they went for back in the day?
It'll be interesting to see if they'll also change the size of the magazine down the road like they did back then, becoming slightly bigger.
Finally managed to pick up my copy of Inferno! #3 and the first Siege of Terra book, latter in particular is pretty nice looking, I can see where the extra €3,- went on that one.
Sadly, third audio drama was not in store, so that's at least another week away.
On the bright side, this popped up for preorder today!

Yeah I 'll have that - although never quite sure why they keep making Genevieve a brunette as she is blonde
I AM A MARINE PLAYER
"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos
"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001
Genevieve has always been raven-haired in my mind's eye, but this due to my bestie resembling her a lot. But yeah, the first two novels covers had her as a brunette, whilst the third, Silver Nails, had her as a blondie. Then there's the omnibus, which seems to go for white / raven, depending on the light:
Started on Inferno! #3 and quite enjoying the selection so far, the first story in particular, The Spirit of Cogs has a nice horror vibe to it that could've easily made it a worthy auto-include for the Maledictions omnibus.
Minor spoiler for that story, don't open unless you read it..
Spoiler:
Is is a psy-titan they're trying to reactivate? It has to be yes?
On The Unlamented Archpustulant of Clan Morbidus right now, which hooked me with the following editorial foreword: Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the Skaven were in charge of the Vatican? Was never big on Skaven, but the heist story from the previous book, No Honour Amongst Vermin, really sold me on them.

Yes, I've had to wait a wee bit longer than most for this to arrive and tired AF from a busy working week, so shorter stories work out better for me right now. But I'm already halfway through it, so maybe I'll get started on Solar War tomorrow, got a day off and I plan on making the most of it then.
Speaking of which, here's the excellent Solar system map from the Siege of Terra site, in all its glorious, large detail:
Spoiler:
I suggest saving it to your PC for the whole, glorious 2800 x 1983 resolution.

And wrapped up Inferno! #3, sleep is overrated anyway.
All in all, nice mix of stories again, no real duds and the inclusion of the last story was a nice gesture by Black Library, what could have been indeed eh?
Personal favourites are The Spirit of Cogs, Dismember the Titans, The Unlamented Archpustulant of Clan Morbidus, Empra and The Weight of Silver.
Now, when's #4 coming out again?

That is indeed one of the Black Iron Core Titans of Xestobiax, as described in HH: Inferno. Clearly the Metallicans weren't quite as thourough in their purging as they'd thought.

I bought the limited ed of this. It was pretty disappointing. Some decent fight scenes but the parts in the ‘beyond’ were fairly woeful. It was an opportunity missed and something really exciting could have been done with it.

She dies in the "warp" realm she goes to in between spawning if the demons catch her who inhabit her warp world. This is a big chunk of her book, how this mechanic works, her memory loss and so on.

I'll put that in the avoid pile then. Gw should be more like game of thrones and actually kill people off for real. I know they do it in the Heresy series, but never seem to do it in 40k. It's not like you couldn't still use the characters in games.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I may read it now, if a different author is involved. I couldn't stand the comic or novels in the past, novels in particular felt a bit too.. forced with the comedy for my tastes.

I would think with Josh Reynolds having a go at this he will want to put his own flavour into the character. I would say the naff jokes will go and we will see a much more ruthless bounty hunter appear.

.... sure was/would be easier if, say, these things were released in one place -- maybe a coming soon section or something similar ?

Cheers for that Red. Happy to see that Rachel is on the Guard panel with Dan and Gav, good on her, especially after Dan gave her a shoutout at his Voxcast episode for her writing style!
