Would Eldar runes of warding work on a Force weapon test.  As it's worded using a force weapon requires a psychic test.

Yes, it is a psychic test.

Yes.
I read the eldar rules, and (to paraphrase) it says that all enemy psychic tests are taken on 3D6, and if any two dice are 6's then there is a PoW attack.

Actually I believe if any two dice add up to 12 or greater then a PotW attack occurs. I could be wrong though.

How do two dice add up to greater then 12?

"Suffering is Faith, Faith is Strength.

Generations have suffered with the same devotion that we can offer but once. Still, our Faith leads us through these dark times like a beacon. It will guide us to triumph over these abominations. Either by breaking them upon us like waves against a limitless, golden peak or by thrusting through them like the spear of the Immortal Emperor Himself." - Cannoness Aoife, Order of the desert rose #Yesallwomen

Wow, that went wrong fast. Runes of warding calls for enemy psychic test to be taken on 3d6 instead of 2d6. That is the sum of 3 dice. I don't know where this pick 2 highest thing is coming from. 12 or higher is a perils test, and of course any value over the psyker's leadership means the power doesn't go off.

That's how I interpret it also but just wanted others opinions. Makes runes of warding truly nasty.

The rules for Runes of Warding start any enemy Psychic tests are made on 3d6. Under the Force Weapon description it states that you make a Psychic test for the Psyker. I say you roll three dice under the rules as it is written.
