The Great Empire Giveaway is neither great nor an empire nor a give nor a way.  Discuss.

ABABABABABABABABABABABABADOOOBABABDOOOABBDOOABBODADDON,

I disagree. It is of course a give-away. Perhaps I forgot to add the "Hyphon".

I only ordered once from BWBits and it came in the mail with everything I ordered no problem.  But the box it came in was full of ants!  Aaahhhh!!!  I don't remember ordering any ants!!!  Maybe they entered me in the Ant Giveaway.  Yay!

I've ordered from them a few times, both from their web site and from their eBay auctions. I have always received what I ordered which is more than can be said about a "former" online site who's name I shall never utter again. *spit* Anyway, a couple of days ago I made another order from them but don't think I qualify for the "giveaway" because my bits were from the 40k side and not the Fantasy side. No matter, because I order bits that I want or need, not to enter contests.

I really don't see why people raise such a big stink about these guys. Placed my first order with them several days ago. Recieved 3 emails from them telling me that the order was recieved, set up, and shipped. Most companies won't do that. Most guys in my group has had multiple orders from them as well. Never once have they had a bad experience. And what really closes the deal with me? These guys have no problem shipping to APO's. Lots of people out there who won't do it simply cause their to lazy to spend 5 seconds filling out a customs form. Not these guys though. So A+++ to them.

Well I know I'll qualify for the giveaway. I'm starting Dwarfs and when you can get 9 Warriors + Command for $9, not to mention the cheap plastic Miners & Thunderers, well I'm going to be ordering from them. Plus they had a great deal on the Sabol transports, working out to be less than eBay costs or ordering direct from Sabol.

I was a little disappointed that it took almost a week to ship my order, but apparently their system was down for part of last week. The thing that I like most about them was that when I was getting a little upset that it was taking so long to ship, I was able to just go online, click on their chat session and get an immediate answer to my question - that's pretty damn convenient.

I've had nothing but great dealings with BWB. I've actually saved money by buying from them. I already have enough parts to make many full models but for a pair of legs or a torso, so they're useful to me.

Alas, this thread was just shut down and is clearly not treading even remotely new ground, nor is it needed since there's already another one going that I moved over to Discussions.

No offence to you WD, I just think some people are getting tired of this topic lately. So I'll refer you guys to this thread:

www.dakkadakka.com/Forums/tabid/56/forumid/7/postid/136512/view/topic/Default.aspx

"Nothing from the outside world can be imported into Canada without first being doused in ranch dressing. Canadian Techs have found that while this makes the internet delicious it tends to hamper the bandwidth potential. Scientists are working furiously to rectify the problem. "
