Anyone remmber the dakka ranking system?

Anyone remember the 'dakka ranking system'? I know Russ used it for a while, but I can only remember my initial piece of it, which was:

(wins/wins+losses)*LOG(number of games played)

....but I know improvements were made to it.

100 x (wins + .5 ties) / (wins+loss+ties) x LOG (1+wins + .5 ties)

We're going to implement it for our local club. We're awefully competitive, and this is a way we can determine bragging rights.

Why yes, like all military organizations, the MDF (Mauleed Defense Force) has ranks.

For example, Big Chris is a Lt. Colonel.

If you apply now pariah, I am sure there are a couple openings.

Of course, some of the testing requires assassination, payoffs and maybe a bit of extortion, but positions can be made I would hazard to guess.

I know that the Chris was Co-President of the Mauleed Fan Club, but I didn't know that you formally inducted him into the MDF. (which is not affialted)

When did this happen?

Alright! Sign me up. Huh. "Mauleed Defense Force." Does than mean that whenever anyone says anything mean about Mauleed on the internet, I have to come to his defense? Or do I just drop bombs on people from an airplane?

Well, I hope I don't have to assassinate any Dakka members. It's so hard to kill the ones you love. On the other hand, I understand that some sort of loyalty test may be required.
