If my Deamon Prince is equipped with both a power weapon and the dreadaxe do all of the attacks ignore both armor and inuv saves?

Demon Prince, as in Lord w/ stature -> Yes if you use the dreadaxe, and the power weapon gives you +1 (dreadaxe) attak. A ccw would do the same as the power weapon though, for 14 points cheaper.

Demon Prince, as in Lord w/ 50+ points of gifts -> No. If you use the dreadaxe, you ignore invulnerable saves and the power weapon gives you +1 (dreadaxe) attak. If you use the power weapon, you ignore armor saves and the dreadaxe gives you +1 (power weapon) attak.

- Boss Salvage

Boss Salvage has the right of it. A prince with Stature and Dreadaxe inherently ignores armor saves thanks to Stature, and ignores invulnerable thanks to his weapon. A prince without stature has to choose one weapon to use the special rules for in any given round of combat, and the second weapon just gives him +1 attack with the primary weapon.

We had this very same discussion at our shop and i would disagree...On page 55 of the rulebook where it talks about monstrous creatures in assault it says the following line(emphasis mine)..."some monstrous creatures have weapons that augment strength or work unusually. Monstrous creatures without such a special rule roll an extra D6 for armour penetration when attacking a vehicle due to their huge size."

We interpreted this as ...since the monstrous creature obviously does not get the monstrous creature bonus pen dice, he wouldnt get the other benefits either when equipped with a special weapon.

There is absolutely no support for that in the rules.

That makes me unhappy just knowing that there are people who would do such a thing.

Not sure what you are getting at poisonrogue... are you saying that a demonic statured prince with a dreadaxe doesn't get the d6 extra vs vehicles? Heck vs vehicles I'd just say oh I'm attacking with my barefist :p

But if you are saying that the dreadaxe takes away the princes monstrous stature that allows it to ignore armor saves. I would say that you are not allowed to apply rules for how MC's deal with vehicles to any other situation, as in the book (any of them) do not specifically allow us to do so.
