Privateer Press is releasing a pirate mercenary unit called the Sea Dogs. Pretty decent models, too. Six poses in all, so it would appear. Privateer Press official site: http://www.privateerpress.com/

God damn you trigger baby. You had to show those right now. Dammit. Now youre on the list with malfred. I am still curious as to what a mercenary privateer army consists of. is there rules for them in the book already? or are the rules released when the models are?

I better jervis-be-damned be able to include these in a Protectorate force. Cutthroats can be included in a Protectorate force, I think. So their outlawishness shouldn't preclude them. I -will- be inspired to murder someone if I cannot put them in alongside Kreoss. Are you listening Matt Wilson? (Well played Privateer Press, a well placed feint. But get back to work and show me the Trollkin warlock Evolution preview.)

Sweet Christmas.
I like. They kinda remind me of a horrid cross between Long Drong's Slayer pirates and Foundry's Pirates! It shouldn't work, but it does.
And thus, I have to have them. I blame Richards.

Yar! I'm in! I've been toying with a mercenary force for Warmachine and also with expanding my Cryx force with more piratical themed goodness. I thought I had to choose, now I see that the choice is made for me. I will do both together for they will be far greater together than they would be standing alone. I will have them, yes I will have many of them. Now, I be off to capture me a fat treasure ship so's that there's gold enough for me lovelies.

This also posted recently on the Privateer Press page: A special legacy of Captain Shae's mutiny, the 'Commodore' is a massive royal-weight cannon such as those found only on first-class ships of the line. The cannon is named in sardonic tribute to Shae's former employer whose skeleton can be seen strapped to the cannon's wide barrel. No man and few warjacks can withstand a shelling by the Commodore. ----- Where are we going with this, Privateer Press? I get Ashlynn and -one- Llael warjack (small amount of love)... and all of a sudden I get three Ordic Pirate units (lots of pirate love.) This seems like a big deal to me.

Totally awesome. It seems like something to "blow my wad' over... Er.. yeah..... thats wasnt funny...... So pirates arent getting a Jack? Or this is what would stand in for one? This is the third release for this particular faction in nearly as many days. Is that normal?
