Nice table of terrain, Darkjim. And kudos on the unrealistically clean and organized gaming/hobby room.

Nice work on the painting, everyone else.

That's a fabulous looking table DarkJim, have to say one of the best I have seen. Must be a joy to play on!

Love some of the smaller details (little travel pods in the parking bays etc) really think those bring it to life.

Absolutely awesome, Modock. I'd sell my soul to be able to paint like that. Or lease it out anyway.

Thanks mate!
I've seen your work, I bet you could do it. It just takes time with an hairy brush like it took me to paint it.

Thanks dude I'm afraid my eyes are old and bent (to quote The Life Of Brian), but I am definitely inspired to try harder on my next batch.

Fantastic job with those, really like the colour scheme - think actually a nicer combination than on the official studio minis!

Oh, thank you!
I actually totally forgot to provide a Link to close up pics of them in my personal painting thread.

Decided to do Nomads for the FLGS escalation league. I painted the Mobile Brigadas a while back but had to spend some time this week and finish up the Aguiciles as well as 4 Die Morlock Gruppe and their Warcor friend. They were quite a hit with the other players. I was prepared to borrow some Morlocks I painted for a friend's Nomads since they're hardly ITC legal, but nobody complained and all the people I played against were very encouraging of the proxy Morlocks since they actually fit the Morlock fluff and statline so well.

I hope this is okay to post here.

I really wanted to get the Joan of Arc limited edition model that came with the A.G. masterclass book, but did not wish to pay inflated eBay prices for just the model.

CMON has the book with the figure on sale right now - $35.39 shipped in the US.

Bit of a cross-section of Nomads I've picked up over the last few years it seems. Starting to realize I might have a problem between 3 armies.

Those are awesome.

I'm still annoyed that Photobucket screwed up your helpful tutorials on painting Jean and Isobel.

Thank ya. Yeah, I'm ultra pissed at Photobucket. I'm going to try and put them back up, plus a new one I did for Jethro in the future.

Thanks! Really enjoying painting these minis. Seem like the hardest part is trying to avoid distraction and stick to finishing a model. I'm trying to use that Avatar sitting on the shelf as motivation for me to finish all the Morat Vanguard and Unidrons.

Thanks, Modock. I do admit, I like the way you've managed the orange. Very stylish on the remote.

Here's a Grenzer, in red ochre and burnt siena. i'm getting away from the orange.

More in my blog. Do drop in. Combat Jump, Tactical Jump, however you want...
