By far the best rendition of Guilliman I've ever seen dude. You've captured the grimdark feel very well without making him look straight up grimy, I tough act to balance but you did it brilliantly.

@nerdfest - thank you so much. It really was a fun one to work on. Lot less hassle considering the bloody trim he has than I thought it would be. The client's only instructions (and what sold me on accepting the job) were that he was to be a member of the deathwatch!! Really chuffed how the blue flame and steel sword came out - soooo sick of seeing a million red/orange flame swords, had to try something different. I swapped out the chaos marine on the base for a converted 'stealer. Seemed more in keeping with the DW theme

@I_F - cheers matey. Wanted him battle worn but not battered to bits. He is still a primarch after all - needed to try and retain some of that stature. He's winging his way to his forever ever home now.........was a tough one to send. lol

And there's more!!! my 3rd 'mini' from Inq54 games/range - Brother Artmeis sculpted by Jes Goodwin. Loved working on this model. He stands about 70mm tall (the scale is 54mm is they totally went for the 'true scale' when scupting him. First time doing such a big freehand scull piece - think it worked well. Richard Gray was a big inspiration for thatand well bcs.....screw decals. Anyways here he is. No idea how many hours as after Eisenhorn took me in excess of 50 hours I vowed necer to count time again - lol Hope you like him guys

much thanks lads. yeah ....the skull......hehe. It was ....a lot of fun. it was nice letting go a bit and going for a differnt painting style. more akin to painting on a canvas than a mini. very happy how it came out. limited palette and being more fluid with strokes was kinda key. defintely gonna be doing a lot more big freeehand as have finally started work on my warhound titan Gonna try and make one of my streams per week 'Titan day' starting.......soonish lol

Your work on the bloat drone has a 'blanche' feel to it - is that just me?

I love the cloak on the chaplain!

That base is right proper nurgly dude, I'm absolutely loving it. I'm stoked to see that KDM coming together, it's so far removed from your usual models that I'm excited to see how you tackle it. From what I'm seeing so far it's coming along fantastically.

Beautiful start on Doom! That is a truly spectacular model and that shade of green is perfect. KM stuff is always a pain to assemble, I imagine the 75mm scale stuff will need a lot of pinning.

Cheers guys. He's a 54mm sculpt. I used a milliput to fill out the core of the throne where the bits interlock (badly) and then greenstuff for gap fill and to rescukpt some extra cloak where the main body didnt reach the back of the throne properly. JB Weld for assmebly. The assmebly was a dickto do but once done the fun could start. Luckliy I reallylike painting cloth adn materials otherwiseit would have been a looooooooooooooooong paint....well, it was anyways but fun all the same!! Layering and glazing gave for a nice smooth but full effect. I'm using darkstar molten metals for all the metalwork; throne and armour. They are amazing - super shiny and really come out like metals rather than paint pretending to be metals. worth checkingout
