As for no one noticing well the Imperium does seem fragmented at the moment, at least in approach.

Yeah, I'm also stuck fighting reality at the moment. Uni work has been eroding my sanity for the past two weeks, and it's going to continue doing so for the following two weeks 
That said, I had a chat with TS about my Remnants joining up with the Chaos-Tau-super-alliance, so I'll probably contact some of you over PM to discuss the details about them doing so 
Also, I can't steal what's already mine, now can I?

Well, whilst the Imperials may be more fractured, they have a joint goal: see Crion remain safe and secure under Tobias' rule.
On the other hand, I doubt that the Tiller-Chaos-Tau-Harlequin-Ork-Necron alliance has the same end goal beyond killing the Imperials and claiming what they can from Crion and the surrounding systems.
