Hi all,

Just thought I'd drop by and plug my new blog, which follows my building of a Trollblood warband, with step by step updates on Painting, Modeling, and Battlereports (eventually). I'm doing this just for fun, and for the learning experience, and I hope it might be fun for others too to see a warband as it's being built up regularly. Plus it's a good way for some of my buddies who have moved away to follow up on what I'm up to gaming wise. " alt="smile.gif" />

Also, you can live through all the bone chilling painting screw-ups, the frantic head-beating on my table as I break things, my crushing defeats, and laugh at my very average painting/modeling skills as I try to improve them. If you have any tips, by the way, please let me know! I'm always looking for ways to improve my painting skill, which considering how bad they are, you figure would be an easy task! " alt="biggrin.gif" />

Anyway, my latest update was today where I have started the Dire Troll Mauler and am attempting for the first time to really try blending! Tons of pics on the site now, I'd love to hear what you guys think of it so far, and what I could do to improve it.

Thanks!

-Zugbart

PS. I really want to make sure that everyone understands that I'm *not* an uber painter or modeler, and that this is more for all the normal folks out there, hoping that I can show that if a loser like me can make a semi-decent warband, you can too! " alt="biggrin.gif" />

Added a few more updates, mostly of the Dire Troll. I've fiished up his lower arms and chest now! Yay.

Might get more views if you post this in the modelling forum.

The modeling forum scares me though...so many unbelievably good painters/modelers that this kinda thing I imagine would be pretty garbage-like next to some of those works!

I figure, at least in the Warmachine/Hordes forum, people might be more interested just cause it's related, even though it may not be the best painting/modeling/gaming around.

Are there "normal" people posting things up in the modeling forum? Or should it be more reserved for the crazy painting and converting?
