Its my 1st tournement and I am definately nervous do to lack of routine play. A lot of the things in here were recomended by people at the LGS. Guardian, Deliverers, and Chior.

• So Ive got some muscle jacks made even better with Chior and extra focus form the wracks.
• Guardian keeps my little parishoners from fleeing. Plus his wards is so cheap.
  
• Kreoss's feat + deliverers = awsome
• Protection of Menoth + TFG Shield Wall = Unkillable.
• I play Kreoss a bit offensively so a Devouts good.
•  Also I have a TFG equipped with a custom banner from before the release of Superiority. Do those who have played tournaments before think this would be allowed?

Ditch the Guardian and the Wracks for a Redeemer (Infuse means much more assured dead warcaster on the Feat Turn) and a unit of Zealots +1. The Devout is really and his Defensive Strike can make Slams against him a lot harder.

The Guardian is nice but with a Crusader in there already to form the Jackwall in front of Kreoss with No Shooty/Spelly on them you're better off shooting back as you advance.

Also, if an AD or Cav unit knocks out your Deliverers you'll have some shooting (infused!) to knock stuff out on the Feat turn. AND you can boost those rockets (you can't boost the deliverers).

A list without Zealots is a crime I say. They're a MUCH better anti-jack solution then the Guardian. I'd honestly find something else to ditch.

Well Achilles if that is your real name you drive a good point, but I'd like additional oppinions before finalizing. I dont have a redeemer or zealots. Then again I don't have wracks either. I might just pick some up on pay day.

Well if you really want to shake things up go all infantry. But I decided to retire that list because it was slowed and people just didn't like playing against it.

That said; these are the two lists I've taken to Steamrollers and won Overall with (They're usually alternates for each other, though I almost always just pick one list and play it to the end)...

I only have deliverers/TFG and Kreoss for those lists.
Sigh. Well you must be the only other menite on the boards Achilles.
But then others would probably say the same. It would be easy to pick up a redeemer and some zealots. This isnt a time in my life to be buying the rest.

Additionally I like lists with a few Warmachines in Warmachine. Thanks for your time and consideration.

I actually haven't played pop n' drop too often, but from what I've seen
it's very effective.

Malfred (as you can probably tell from the above) and Mauleed (though he seems to have lost interest in WM) both have Menoth armies.

You will need a lot of models in a menoth army if you want to use different casters, as they all tend to favour different elements of the overall list. In my pursuit of having something to run with all the small base casters (I still haven't finished painting the parade float or her knights on horseback) I ended up with all this.



In front of them is my proudest award, my GF9 Cheese token.

Mauleed has a pop n' drop style army with Severius and Death Sentence, I believe.

and 3 Deemers if I remember. He didn't like Deliverers.

It makes sense that the synergy army cant also be the most flexibility army. Rest assured I should be grabbing the redeemer today. Just one unless your willing to wire transfer some money my way. Im thinkin despite you recomendation that I amy drop the Crusader instead of the Guardian out of stuborness. I bought him instead of that beautiful Reckoner model becuase Menoth players said so. I cant let that be in vain.
For now I just want to go to the Tournament to have fun and play on a more regular basis. After that I'm sure the competition bug will grow stronger. I do want to expand my Menoth of course and Zealots were on the list anyways. I probably be getting them next week. I should additionally be making a High Reclaimer list one of these days. After bringing my Skorne to 500points.

Also why does the all infantry list have 3 wracks? I dont own esscalation but dont they pretty much give my Caster extra focus?

And advance deploy. In previous steamrollers you had to have 3, or you'd lose turn 2 in some of the scenarios.

They also make HR a 6 Focus Caster for at least 3 turns of the game base (+kills).

I picked some wracks up to for future use. I like the stats and I like the crows.

They're great, handy filler. Even if I get 1 focus I consider it will spent.

I agree. They and my redeemer are now ready to prime.

You don't want the Guardian. Trade it out for a Revenger, and get the TFG the UA. BOOM you still have fearless TFG. The Revenger is a much better Arc Node than the Guardian IMO. In fact it's arguably the best light warjack in the game.

Replace it with infantry. Zealots + MB and Eiryss or a Seneschal or Vilmon will serve you better.

Vilmon is a little god. I think he's the closest thing to a mandatory model that Menoth has; he's that good.

Choir is mandatory.

I don't think they're mandatory in an infantry Harbinger army with one Devout.

But that's the only army I can think of.

I'd still take them just to spell ward the Devout.

Zealots and Vilmon are broken. Use them.

Guardian is neat, but overpriced. The Crusader is a more cost efficient 'jack scrapper. Deliverers are good for thinning light infantry and popping KD casters (McThralls, etc.) but not much else.

A scratchbuilt banner should be fine. It is a PP model after all!

I'll get the zealots in a couple of weeks. Vilmon will probably be a must have after I refresh my memory. Got the revenger just not his armed hand (oh well). The only problem with the custom banner is I don't have a second officer unless the attachment one completely replaces the 1st one. I suppose I could nominate another distinguishable guard as the lesser officer.

I fought a heavy heavy Cygnar with Darius, a dwarf merc list with bokurs, and an infantry cryx list. What I learned was...

1.  If you can bring 3 lists, bring 3 list.
2. The Guardian's pitch is a lot of fun as well as his arc node.
3. Never let Bokurs charge. Also keep a focus on the Guardian in case a bokur charges.
   
4. 11 rockets cannot kill a prone dwarf caster. Even with antimagic pulse.
   
5. Rocket list vs Cryx = awsome.

End result, Winner of the loosers. 1/3
