Hey guys,
Check this stuff out.  Have you guys seen this before?  Looks like some cool parts for a Mechanicus force!

Even I don't normally do this, but c'mon, in News and Rumors?  Take it to Trading Post man.  BTW, I don't even think those bits are GW, and I have no idea what they could be used for in terms of adeptus mechanicus.  The coolest models they ever released were the limited edition Skullz set a couple years back (I wish I still had mine, damn you eBay and gas bills!)

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

You guys are amazing. People start 10 page threads about a misprint on the GW site, but I mention some unreleased bitz I found an auction for and you jump all over me. Gotta love Dakka. And the are indeed GW parts. They are listed on the Unreleased models page of the Citadel Miniature Wiki and some GW guys I know had seen these things floating around years ago but never released.

While I am not going to get into the other part of the discussion going on here, I can confirm that those are indeed GW parts. I have seen the complete vehicles before. I think they were sculpted
around the same time as the Skullz Mechanicus guys but not released. Definitely GW though.

Huh. I never knew that GW had Vehicle parts. I remember the Skullz mail-order stuff and really wanted to get the Adeptus models. Nice find.

I second that those are actual GW bitz. I've seen the assembled Ad Mech models (the parts give you options for two different weapons) and recall reading about them on the AdMech Yahoo board. My only concern is whether or not they're recasts or originals. But I suppose with something that rare, who cares?

As the listing mentions, they are missing the tracks, but otherwise they look like this:

It is news, and it pertains to GW.

With all the crap threads and discussions going on you can at least let a few real posts in.

The auction is on the up and up. As Jeff said, those are the real thing. I game with the guy selling them, and we had first option before they went on ebay. i would have jumped at them if i would have had any of the old AM stuff. Ah well.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Well, it's news to me.  That is kind of cool - really liked the Skullz Adeptus Mechanichus set..  Too bad this auction is missing some parts.

Being in the news section it really comes across much more as a "Pimp my Auction where more people will see it" post.

Excellent point.  As for the mini's in question What the hell are they for?  40K or Epic?  I am confused>  They look more like dwarf cannons to me.

I believe they were sculpted for 40K, not Epic.

It's all relative. For 98% of the population, any amount of money spent on pewter soldiers would constitute a waste.

Why spend sooo much money on bits when you can get a warhound titan for that amount of money, or a new army, or......

(Whistles a low, slow whistle.)  That's a lot, especially for an incomplete mini.  Still, it's werra werra rare, so I'm not too surprised.  I spend a bit of time over at the CollectingCitadelMiniatures Yahoo! Group, and they are willing to lay down the dollars for the rare stuff, you betchya.  I've seen early Rogue Trader Tyranids and certain Dark Elves go for considerably more than this...
