There had been a 910 bid the other day on it, but that one seems to have gone away.

I'm completely speechless, If I were getting a re-enlistment bonus I'd drop it on that in a heartbeat. Can you imagine the look on someones face when you put that on the table?

Since I know what the guy paid Augustus for it, I know that he took a loss. Especially considering he also painted it and put some pretty awesome terrain on the base. Oh and the cut that eBay takes too.

eBay cuts, yep a problem. But taking a loss. That I can hardly beleive, wood is not that expensive. sure a lot of time went into this, but likely that time was also a lot of fun. The second one will be quicker, and the third. After that you are not scratchbuilding but manufacturing.

think he means that the ebay seller wasnt augustus.
and that he paid augustus more than he got from the ebay sale.
I hope so anyway the material cost would be very low its ust very labour intensive.

Oh I see now, this thread is not retro, its very retro.
It looked to me Augustus was reviewing an old build, making it looks like a blog of a build in order to advertise a current eBay auction of the recently made piece.
While in fact he had already sold the piece and the current owner then had to sell it for reasons of his own.
I had wondered why the sale did not advertise the many interchangable weapons options this titan has, either there is a second titan around or the seller got clumsy.
Adding in all the options would have really boosted the value.

Indeed!
I did this as a comission piece.
I did not put it on eBay.
I have no comment on prices except that I can say this was over $200 in materials alone, AND was 13 8+ hour days.
Cheerio lads!
