Amazing! Once you've got more mass on the jointy bits (hips and arms as you've mentioned), it's going to be incredible. Can't wait to see this thing on the battlefield, either. That Apoc battle will deserve a well-shot and edited video, if you can arrange one. You would definitely get worldwide blogposting.

Yes, the hips are the major and final piece of 'superstructure' to be finalised. The Titan breaks down into smaller pieces, and where the foot meets the hip(the skinny bit) is where one of these joints is. I have to get some dowel and socket set up for pistons etc, and they have to be able to come apart easily...AAARGHH!!

Plus being somewhat lazy doesn't help

Had a good look in about 3 different Hware stores today, for hoses/pipes sockets for hips/elbows.

Suffice to say, no update pics.

Just a headache(Sunday Carparks) from snotty, loud kids, bored store attendants, and sore calves from all of the walking. Pffft....

I made it from a $2 Skull from a variety Junkshop, then made the Aquila from Balsa and Plastic etc.

Are you going to cover up the back of the lower legs? Because if it's supposed to be an entrance to the titan, it doesn't make much sense, as it leads to the empty area behind the leg.

Shrine/Altar area fof Back of feet. Main entry/exit point at front of foot.

Three fire points on each foot, with lights installed and space for 1 Hvy Weap model in each..

Rear areas of feet, ready for SO MUCH BLING IT AINT FUNNY.

Lanterns of Purity, Pulpit of Veneration, hatches, pipes etc.

Basic body structure ATM, then Max Bling. Getting Legio Astraman Banners done with embroidery on silk.

Now it's loking like another 6 months or so till finished.

1 Warhound(1 Arnourcast Warhound short of 'Wing' Status :( )
1 Knight Paladin.

So have just moved into new digs. It has alot of appealing features.

The only shame is I crushed a panel in the Emperor Titan during the move- Arrgh.

New setup is much more Modelling/Painting friendly.

Meanwhile, during the Apocalypse Game, there's a game of "Kill Team" running using JUST THE TITAN'S CARAPACE.

That's how awesome this this is. Great job. Clearly, your definition of "Lazy" differs from most others.

KK- the head was a $2 'money Box' originally, I made the faceguard from Balsa and some urban War stuff.

Once I have padded out the hips/elbows, add a bit more Bling- then I have to paint it. Crikey :O

The only flaw I see is the lack of armor around the legs and thighs. Other than that,great job!

I have done some work on the Face Armour, and a little aquisition of Plasticard for the Hips/Elbows. More W.I.P shots tonight(I am at work atm)

So started to think about how I would 'Decorate' the head. Rivets or Fleur De Lis?

Decided to go with both, although the larger Fleur De Lis and Wreath will find a home on some of the flatter sections.
