We love what we love. Reason does not enter into it. In many ways, unwise love is the truest love. Anyone can love a thing because. That's as easy as putting a penny in your pocket. But to love something despite. To know the flaws and love them too. That is rare and pure and perfect.

Funny as it may seem, art books tend to be the thing that messes the most up with collector's editions. With Assassin's Creed, they ended up just shipping the game without it but having a little bit inside saying "Regrettably, we had a problem with the printer for the art book. It will be shipped to you as soon as it's available".
Of course, that ended up being almost three or four months later, but that's not the point. Point is art books are evil.

Maybe so, but after the upset people had at not being kept in the loop...they probably figure it's better to apprise their customers of every little tiny nuance.

nope, try again.
all the printing and cd manufacturing is done overseas and then shipped to the civilized world, just like everything else.
delays happen when these mass-manufacturing cities do something more profitable first, or weather makes the boats late.

There used to be alot of polish people around now I feel they have left this blighted rock, so sadly we are not able to do that. We might get the farmers and their tractors on the case instead.
Anyway back on-topic.
Was thinking they might have gone with a last minuet change of heart having read the reviews and decided they may just go and put the whole film through a re-render with different render tech. It is not total out of the question, if they were approached by some render tech provider last minuet like Pixar or other big hollywood studio.

If this means what it sounds like, as in people from Poland and not shoe polish, you should be banned from these boards forever. I would highly recommend clarifying what exactly it is you meant by that, because right now, I'm thinking you're a bigoted idiot.

While I can't speak to motivations, I think calling them a bigoted idiot is a bit premature. For one, not everyone here is American, or Canadian, or British, etc, so what seems like a bigoted response to someone, is normal to someone else. Pretty sure that's a Netherlands tag, and a little research shows that the Netherlands has experienced a steady influx of Polish people ever since it's admittance to the EU. It's very possible that the types of jobs described are filled by the a majority of the Polish community there. Being from an area where a majority of menial jobs are filled by a certain ethnic group almost exclusively, I can see the comparison perhaps a bit more clearly. Stereotypes are bad and all, but I don't generally equate that with bigotry, but more with just being a poor choice of words.

It is likely a reference - said in jest, no doubt - to a social class made up of Polish immigrants that exist or may have existed in England's past that specifically dealt with this issue (snow and whatnot), or, perhaps, in a more general sense of 'labour'. Hardly a 'bigoted' comment.

Well, you know how to avoid the appearance of being bigoted? Don't call out a particular ethnic group as a generalized and specific manual labor workforce.
As someone said earlier, if I said 'Hey it's hot outside, let's get the Arabs to deliver the mail', it wouldn't sound particularly good right? Anyways, I made it clear in my post maybe it wasn't what it sounded like, but it sure sounded like something. A little tact for chrissakes.

Around here we have a massive influx of Polish doing almost anything, hence the remark of "throwing" them at it. They get the job done and don't grumble about it. I got nothing against Poles, or any other group or whatever you might call it, I have a colour TV damn it!
But I need to be banned? I've seen people spout truly baneful remarks and get away with it scot-free. But if you insist, hammer that "!" button please.
Back on topic..
I've got a feeling things might be postponed a bit more, especially with the world-wide mail network grinding to a halt with all that Christmas mail and those packages.
