Thanks guys, and I'm pretty sure that picture made my entire day, Salvage.

So worked on a bit of the stuff, built the chimera and mutalith vortex beast as well as 3 Drogres. I also started working on a couple of the Bile Trolls and got side-tracked with fixing up a relatively messed up Giant. Figured if I could cover all the terrible things that were done to him with armor, he would make a half-decent Siege Giant.

Still major work in progresses on all things, but let me know what you think!

Originally was just going to have the lower jaw completely gone, but figured giving it more of a gaping maw would suffice.

Hoping to make the trolls look even more grotesque than normal, and this was just the first attempt (my greenstuff skills are very sub-par)

Wouldn't be Nurgle without guts. It looks really clean right now, but once it dries and I can bust out the liquid greenstuff, it should be quite a bit more disgusting!

And the Siege Giant. Still very very WIP, but after realizing how well those chariot fronts worked for the model, I couldn't resist.

Woot, I haven't seen this in ages! Inspiring stuff. Especially looking forward to seeing the jugger unit finished, I think the maulerfiend is an awesome unit filler.

Don't believe I've seen your giant, Johnny, but now I might just have to take a peek and possibly steal some ideas!

Many thanks Da Boss. Not sure when I'll get back around to finish it, as my main priority is building the new models which will only continue to pour in just as I finish this first lot.

I'm finding most of the new stuff to be easily built, although a bit tedious. So I'm pretty much just using the Bile Trolls as filler between boxes.
*Build a box of Dragon Ogres --> greenstuff a Troll. Build a Chariot --> greenstuff another Troll.*
That seems to be what's going on for me at the moment, so hopefully I'll finish it all within a day or two.

Edit: I'll also add that at some point this week I'd like to get a finished test model done for the Khorne, Nurgle, and Tzeentch Warriors so that you all can get a side by side comparison of all 4 marked warriors.
And I'm not sure if I had mentioned it, but I ended up stripping my Nurgle Warriors to go for a darker green that didn't utilize only washes, as to have it tie in with the rest of the army.

I like where you're going with that seige giant, needs a lot more armour though

Also, I don't know why but that forgefiend arm thing is screaming for a drill-like thing coming out of the maw

There will definitely be more armor on the giant, so expect to see some updates on him as I progress a big further. At the moment I'm almost done with that big lot of plunder.

Well I was attempting to clean out my working area today, and as I was laying all my stuff out to try and figure out how I was going to store it all, I figured I might as well place as much as I could find out on the table and get some pictures.

So here's quite a bit of my army laid out on the table. Still a bunch missing, but you get the idea! Perhaps I can throw out a list of everything I have in the army if you all want me to.

(as you can see, I have a lot of work to do! Still so much unbuilt stuff, both in and out of the pictures!

Trust me, I know! I only had like 20-30 across my various armies, but then I got like 60 from a trade, and another 30 or so from another. Still like 30 unbuilt ones that aren't in the picture so it's really quite sad that I have that many! But it works out in that I can paint like 20 for each one of my armies.

It truly has been too long since I last updated, but I can honestly say I lost a lot of motivation to work on anything. I suppose this was in part due to the LA Battle Bunker being downsized (and thus rendering me with no where to play with until the new Bunker opens) and in part due to the sheer volume of models I had to paint. It truly is demoralizing when you paint 5 or 10 models and look over to see 230 more of them!

However, I finally seemed to find inspiration in my Orc army, and have started to repaint them. Hopefully I can maintain this enthusiasm until I start on my next project, which is what I'm truly waiting for!
But for now I am quite content with Orcs and Goblins.

I'm really going to try and post more frequent updates, and especially ones that involve finished products as opposed to WIP that I never finish. But for now I'm going to leave you with the sad, sad image of the dreaded stripping of most of my OnG army.

As these 300 or so Orcs take a bath I'm attempting to start finishing my Savage Orcs and perhaps even the Black Orcs.

Sadly, I do... it's proving to be more problematic than useful since I can't get anything done, but since I'm still feeling pretty anxious about this, hopefully I'll finally finish an army.

I do, however, fear that as soon as the next project starts, I'm going to drop these poor Orcs until it's finished.

So up until now, the only time I ever really got anything done was when I had deadlines for massive games where my opponent wanted a painted army. Of course I took the easy route of 3 colors and that's all. With that in mind I actually got nearly all my OnG painted... but it was hideous and in a red shirt, yellow pants scheme, where the paint was so thin that it wasn't even a complete coverage.

I figured that if I want to have a painted army, I want it to look right. So I found a newer scheme that I enjoy and that should be fairly easy to paint. It's much more gritty than before which is kind of what I'm going for with this whole army now.

And for once I have actually been working! First thing was first as I approached this endeavor: I needed a few pump wagons. So I got to work on one and here is how that's currently progressing. I know I'll receive flack for the unmodified Dark Eldar bit, but I'll make it a but more crude before the end of it, I promise!

And of course I said I was going to start painting some Savage Orcs while models stripped, and so I finally managed to get 5 of them nearly done. I'd say they're probably at 90% and once I finish them tomorrow I'll take some actual pictures in my light box, since they look rather poor in this one. It's only 5, but it's a start since I wasn't sure which direction I was going to go with the colors. You can also see what they looked like before when I painted them for the massive games. You can see it's not pretty, and the regular Orc Boyz were much worse than these I dare say.

Well I've actually managed to get some stuff done although I was somewhat halted by a lack of required paints. I finally managed to pick them up so now I should finally be able to finish up my first unit of Arrer Boyz and post up some picks. Sadly the basing wont be done until I can get the rest of the materials I need for that, but at least it's a start.

However, as of current I'm feeling inclined to make a massive Orc Siege Engine type thing... like a fantasy stompa.
This is the one the one they did in the White Dwarf a while back, and I'd really love to do something similar. I was originally going to use balsa wood to craft it, but am slowly leaning against that. Does anyone have any ideas as to what to use for the wood on this behemoth?

Well the stripping is finally complete. There's still a few stray painted models in the army that managed to dodge the bath, but we'll just have to deal with them on an individual basis

So here's a fair amount of the army all laid out to see. I fear that there's still quite a bit not even pictured, but hopefully as I get through painting this current list I'll get more organized with the army. Lots of building and repairs that need to be done, that's for sure.
I also have an additional picture of some mangler squigs I found on ebay, as I'm very, very happy with them.

Look forward to possibly seeing MANY of the Black Orcs getting painted in the near future. Even though they aren't apart of the list I'm using, a group of friends and myself are planning to run the old Storm of Chaos lists with 6th ed. rules, so naturally I'll have to run a metric ton of Black Orcs for my OnG, and an all Chaos Knight list with my WoC.

Thanks! I really love the models, and I'm hoping I can find a couple more in the near future, as quite frankly, who doesn't need 4 Manglers?

However, I did manage to find this treasure at a convention today. It was supposed to be some tentacle monster burrowing out of the ground (tentacles came separate), but I saw it more as a massive squig trying to burst out of a tunnel. So naturally I picked it up with the intent of using it on one of the display boards I'm making for the army. The goal is to get a few Night Goblins with chains attempting to hold it down.

And now for the sad news that I might not be able to work on anything of my own doing for a while, as I recently picked up a "commission" from a friend where I need to assemble a rather large daemon army, and what might potentially turn into painting it as well.

Hopefully I can get it all done fast and get on to my new stuff.
With the new Bunker opening in Socal, I'm really hoping I'll pick up some enthusiasm to paint again, as I feel that my inspiration for working on OnG has already passed. Quite honestly I really want to work on my 40k project, I just cant afford the expensive FW stuff currently.

Well I'm finally back, and as you probably noticed from the title, I'm changing it up a bit.

When I stopped posting I think I had simply got to the point where I didn't want to work on anything anymore because it was so demoralizing. I would paint 10 Chaos Warriors or Orc Boys and look over to see hundreds more.

I think in addition to that I got the point where I didn't even want to spend money on the hobby anymore (due to some fairly obvious reasons!). I had even bought a 40k Ork army a few months back and had a fairly good time building it all up and making them custom bases... but now I'm not even happy with playing them! Kind of a let down, but then I got back into WarmaHordes.

I played the game back in MKII beta, but quit just before the game released due to a major disliking of the community where I played. Luckily, I've been playing at the new Bunker in Socal and after a few people started up the game, I quickly unburied my army! I've always loved the gameplay of WarmaHordes much more than Warhammer, so it should hopefully keep me enticed for quite awhile. And the best thing as far as I'm concerned is that it has such a low model count that I might actually finish a project for once!

Of course, going into it, I was still of the mindset that I didn't want to buy anything... but then I looked at the Archangel for a couple hours (something which I have been majorly interested in for a long time) and cracked. Of course, in order to run the Archangel I need to get a new warlock... and an army to go with her. So now I'm back to square one.

So over the last few days I've stripped everything, broken down everything, and gotten to work reposing and reforging (maybe not quite that far...) everything, starting with the Typhon!

It still needs a lot of work, but at least you can get the general direction I'm going with it. I didn't like that it was so hunched together for such a bad*ss warbeast, so it needed some reworking. Right now my only major concern is the center head that I straightened... so I'm thinking I'll possibly bring it forward a bit and see how that looks.

At any rate, let me know what you think of this start! C&C is always greatly appreciated!

You going to be getting the Mountain King any time soon? I simply love that model!

And speaking of gargantuans... I just put in an order today for my Archangel, as well as all the other stuff I decided I would need to go with it including:

Absylonia
Angelius
Raek
Forsaken x2
Shredders x2
Shepherd
Archangel (as already stated!)

This should put my overall army right around 92 points.

I'm also contemplating using Wood Elf Glade Guard as substitutes for Striders since I really dislike their regular models. Any thoughts on this and whether or not it would be acceptable in games (not tournaments of course... I know the tournament model policies quite well )?

Look forward to some pictures tomorrow of eThag and some Carniveans!
