That sucks. It was one army I know I could beat.

So how's it looking for the Narrative Event? Had a blast last year and really looking forward to this year for both days.

@zathras, it's looking really good! More sign ups than last testament big jim said he's going to make it even more involved. That event was awesome last year, we heard nothing but cheers and laughs, so we expect more of the same this go around.

40K Sold Out.....Again! This is just so exciting for us to see the event max out for the second go around! 150 players inbound.

Also, tomorrow or Monday I will be shooting out the last "get ready" for the BAO email, and I will post it here. We made a few minor changes to the BAO Tournament FAQ based on player feedback. We are also making the call on if we will allow the (very minor) changes from Skies of Blood to apply to the BAO (and we're leaning towards yes). Sorry for the last minute information, not our usual SOP, but this year we have some mitigating circumstances. All will be fine, we just want to give you guys the heads up with as much advance notic as possible.

@Reece: no sweat! It's about to be a dark angel factory up in my house this weekend.

Finished my army off yesterday. including breaking down 4 of my army's 28mm 7 objective flags and mounting them onto 40mm bases! Now I just need to juggle my army transports and get to work on the "pretty" version of my army list.

12 Ravenwing, 5 termies, and a Nephilim Jetfighter to build and paint. Yeah, no sleep this weekend.

@Reece: I may be missing this on the site, but are we using random game length for the missions? If I missed it, my bad, but I really did read the packet this time, haha.

Yup, random game length. We changed the book missions as little as possible to accomodate our format and tournament logistics (such as preset terrain, etc.).

Sounds like we everyone is going to be busy as hell! haha, we have to make some last minute extra terrain for the spots we opened up for 40K (to get us to 150), so we're going to be burning the midnight oil ourselves, too!

Hey Reece, any recommendations for those of us (maybe just me) arriving too late to take the shuttle from the Pittsburg/Bay Point terminal? I gather it's only a 10-15 minute drive from the hotel, so I'm guessing a cab would probably be the best option?

If I can't get someone to get you, a cab is your best bet, probably run you $30? Not certain, but I would bet that is a fair estimate.

Yes, we will have soda, water, pizza at lunch, shirts for order (we only printed up enough to cover the those that purchased one with their ticket, but we can make more. Just didn't want to make a bunch and then have them sit around), product, etc. Plus there will be some vendors there as well.
