Quick wip have his base ready and put him together before work today.
Now just need to glue pin him to his base, get his horns and tail glued on and fill the gaps before Wednesday.
Also his 80mm base is a bit small for him.

Ha, I've only just put my entry together... and it's either going to work and be awesome, or turn out crap and leave me with about 3 days to improvise something else! Living life on the edge!

Ha, I put my entry together at the beginning of the month, and I still haven't gotten past basecoating.

I have similar feelings atm, seems I've got even less time then I thought I would this month, should have done a single model really but meh.
Congrats on finishing n1ceguypaul, the base adds to the model very well.
An argument can be made that Khorne or Slaneesh would suit the theme better than Papa Nurgle, but I think there's still something pretty primal about letting a demon share your body and add a limb or two... That, and I wanted to paint something horrifically grimy!

First of all, Congratulations! to everyone! There are seriously badass entries everywhere Glad everyone seems to be enjoying it!
Now, I'm quite happy! I'm finished! They were taking much longer than I thought and I had to complete them by today! Tomorrow I'm going on vacations to Hong Kong so there was no way in hell I would be able to complete them if I failed today's deadline!
Here are my chosen 5 pics and the others are just extra angles
Other brutes and some Extra Angles just for fun:

Cheers @midget gems looking forward to seeing yours finished.
Its good to see the hard work paying off towards the end of the month for everyone.
@Paradigm that nurgle marine looks sic (pun intended) always amazed with the quality of painting her at dakka.
Really glad i joined and dived in here with all you guys.

Well at least they photograph well. Glad to see the end of those guys. I’ll ignore the fact I have 3 more on the bench staring at me, and more still on sprue.
On a different note: Would it be possible to bump the picture count up to 6? While it didn’t make a difference for me just painting 4 guys, with 6 pics you could do one of each of the 5 allowed models, plus one group shot. Not a huge deal, but would make composite pics a bit easier.

Well it is late in the month. I've already started my project for this challenge, but I forgot to post up the proof picture until now! Hope that is still ok.
I didn't have a great idea for this month, but I did have my box of Morlocks for the Nomads faction in Infinity. While I don't normally think 'Primal' when I think of the Nomads (who are high-tech and live in space), the Morlocks are bioengineered human-animal hybrids pumped up on combat drugs before battle. Their role is as near suicidal shock troopers, charging through a veil of smoke grenades to stab people with swords. Seems fairly primal to me, given the setting.
I hope to get three of the four done.

This month I went to Warhammer World for the doubles event last weekend. I wanted to get some meganobz ready for it but they are a bit pricey if you want to run anymore than 3. So I kitbashed/converted up some from some orruk brutes. Nothing particularly innovative but it was great fun and easy and I'd highly recommend it. The bits were left overs from ork boyz, a meganob pack and I think 1 burna.
I'd have liked to spend a bit longer painting them up but I needed them done for my list. I didn't have my proper camera with me today so my phone had to do which always seems to over expose silver areas... sorry.

Really need to get a better background, and try to find a middle ground between "Auto-corrected white balance that obscures all the details", and "enter the mists!"

6 pic limit seems doable. I'll leave it for this month for everyone who's already submitted but I'll change it next month (if I don't mention it in the OP, someone remind me! )

@Moolet those are great! Especially if you don't want the mechanical look more I think, and the figures are bigger, which is really nice.
My son's Terrorgheist is done, hopefully he'll be happy with it and its reign of terror will start soon hah
I put pics in my gallery, but I don't like how the resolution seems to change on them, making them look not as nice, so I uploaded some to my own site as well (pics above)

Some good work being done in this thread! I myself am regretfully bowing out for this month. Too much other stuff hobbywise being done. I still look forward to the voting, though.
My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

Whoops, I just noticed i messed up my piccy, I've redone it now.
That Terrorgheist is brilliant, visually stunning.
Also a huge fan of Modock's and Vejut's entry this month.
The bomb squigs are also excellent, I so want some of them.

The slight increase in size makes up for the lack of mechanical bits in my opinion. They seemed to go down quite well at the doubles event in Warhammer world, no one batted an eyelid in regards to playing against 'incorrect models' one guy even suggested I should be allowed to play the assault cannon guy as an assault cannon.. heh.

Well done to those that have finished so far, with 2 days left I'm needing a kick up the arse to get finished in time.
Nice conversions Moolet, the AOS Orcs do seem prime for conversions and nice models to start with, I am definitely planning to get my hands on some in the future. The heat damage on the assault guns barrel went a lot better than some of my own attempts.
Some really stand out work there Guildenstern, the wings are still my favourite part
Dark Angels/Deathwing - just getting started!
Space Marines - Stark Crusaders 4500pts/PL244 (2700pts painted)
Eldar - Biel Tan 2000pts
Space Wolves 1500pts
Final pics of Varag Ghoul-Chewer. This is the first Forge World miniature I've ever painted. I'm really happy how he turned out.
A charging Ork star player fits the definition of primal, doesn't it? Varag's like a force of nature coming towards you, then through you, then stepping on you, then coming back for another go if you happen to get up.

Loads of great work...
Moolet - love those models and love your conversion work - so seemless;
Guildenstern and GiraffeX - great dragons!
I am blown away by Modock's ogre - awesome textures on the metal and rocks;
in awe of Paradigm's style and speed as always; and
can't wait to see Tuftoof's bomb squigs!
I wasn't sure I'd get finished but here's my dinosaur...see you all for 'Boom!' next month...
