Yeah, fingers crossed the it's a WoK wide sale as I'll finish up the stuff I didn't get last year and round out the Goritsi. I'll have 4/5 factions at that point as the fish men do nothing for me.

Really hoping they aren't just discontinuing the game but if they are then hopefully the sale is huge and I can finish it up and have a complete and well done game to pull out from time to time.

CMON doesn't generally do announcements to say "We're out, the game is dead!" and the tone and tenor leading up to this 'announcement' does...feel (yeah, I know!) positive.

Still, that *could* mean that the IP has been sold off to a company that actually gives a damn/will actually manufacture/stock/distribute/deliver existing product AND develop new things going forward...

Or, CMON could actually say "Sorry, our bad, we'll be getting back on track with regular releases for WoK and Dark Age in 2019 after our GRRM fail to deliver and the KS-cash grab cow begins to get milked dry!", or...something between?

I still don't get why they haven't run with the setting like FFG does with their Terrinoth/ Runebound stuff.

Heck, do another starter set on KS with new factions, or subfactions, or a dungeon crawl set in Arikania, or a reskin of one of their dudes on a map game...

...I need some Gotha and Duelists as well.

If everything really is 80% off, then those Gotha knights will be $7...

I really do hope its good news. New factions would be great. or even just new units.... some underworld style armored vampires for Goritsi... Ok, I could wish list a bunch of stuff, but I wont.

Even if they just do a board game I would be happy. My CMON wish list is currently $720.... but that's only $144 at 80% off.




Oh, and the Gotha knights are 8 to a box...2 leaders and 6 troops. So less that a $1 each... I may buy a couple boxes, even though I don't really need any more.

This is me with the Celestial Host models. So much awesome in a single box!

Now I can't shake the urge to sci fi up the Celestial Host and Hadross gladiators into a full Uplift War squad for [sci fi skirmish rule set].

I'd hop on a sale pretty quick. Wrath might be a dead game, but the standard game sizes means that if I get one of everything, I've still got plenty of variety.

Pretty much this. Unless there is a specific unit you love even one of each gives you all the variables ever. I kept I think 2-3 of each of the rank 2 specialists from the original and grab essentially 1 box of everything else with a few exceptions. Like the Celestial host, legionaires, Goritsi mercs, great wings and so on. Given that a basic troop box is essentially 1/3-1/2 of the "troops" you need in the game it's insane how far just a bit will go.

I juat placed an order for the remaining units I didn't have. Now I have one of everything in the range (wish I had more of their molded bases... why did they discontinue those!!)

I didn't hear about an 80% off sale, but if that's true I'll grab some extras of units I like, like the firehawks and gotha knights

That haven't said whats included... but the CMON store is pretty barren, and really Wrath of Kings is all they have left there...

I did a preliminary browse too. A lot of the store is pretty barren at the moment.

I wonder if the board games could end up getting some of those steep discounts too...

the game is very much alive and well where I am, and I would love to finish off the last few models I need for the game, now if they made an RPG for this, I would be in Nerdvana!!

We had a pretty brief surge when it initially dropped but the lack of support after the kickstarter for so long killed it. And given the GW resurgence and that I live in FFG's home it's hard to get anything not GW or FFG off the ground. Even Warmahordes has died.

GW really took a hit around here, other than the GW none of the other stores stock or support it. Guildball, Xwing, warmahordes, etc all get played a lot and some games i have no idea about like fallout. Infinity is really big too.

I hope this game is renewed again, it seems a lot of you really like it.

As CMON is likely to have a big sale on all their WoK stuff, can anyone help me out with a picture of the Hadross Pit Fighters next to another miniature (regular and perhaps an ogre sized one if you have one) so I can better judge their scale? I wouldn't mind picking some up, but I need to be sure as to how large they are.

I don't own any Hadross, but their profile in the book says they are on 40mm bases... which is what the Goritsi werewolves/ skorza are on.

I have some painted Pit Fighters at home. I have some photos on Dakka already but they don't show the size really.

I'll post some comparisons of them later tonight.

A Pit Fighter with an assortment of WoK models.



A different Pit Fighter with models from a few different ranges.

They tend to be about normal guy sized, but they're a lot broader and stockier than an average WoK human.

I wish it was alive on this continent, I like that boar monster and the weretiger guy. Couldn't find them without shipping being as much or more as the minis, though.

I like them, but I could likely make them bigger by giving them proper sized legs and arms. I still think they're great, it'll just take some work to get them how I want.
