Wow, thanks! Yeah I want that set soooooooo bad now. I can't wait for the new ork codex. I hope they listened to how overpriced bikes are. I'd really like to utilize them in my army so I can feel good about painting them. Now I need to start working on more boyz. There's too many boyz to paint - it's overwhelming lol. I got like 70 more to do so I can field 3 squads of 30.

My current objectives:
1. Finish HGUC Nu Gundam (Almost complete!)
2. Finish my last 6 Chaos Warriors (First six shown)

3. Finish HGUC Zeta Plus C1 (90% done)
4. Paint Vandus Hammerhand (Assembled in two sub assemblies and undercoated in black)
5. Paint rim of Bastiladon base (otherwise complete)


Yeah, a big part of how I stay motivated is that I alternate between Gundam and Warhammer.

More progress.

I had some spare sponsons from a B&S kit, so I built them into magnetized alternate turrets for the Rapiers (ignore the weapons, they're merely for show). Will save me a few bucks in the future when I want to build some plasma/laser destroyer variants.


The fourth (and likely final) Rhino-Russ chass is complete.

Wow.. those look like WALL-E's angry cousins, MURDR-E and SHOOT-E. Killer weathering too btw

I have yet to use them in a game of course...but it's really hard to argue with Hellforged Rapiers on paper. They look like a genuinely fun addition to the army. They're going to be supported by a Typhon Siege Tank soon as well...

PS: When their crew die they go crazy and charge enemies, shooting and eating them....I will be shouting "JOHNNY 5 IS ALIVE!" every time this occurs.

@Elbows Will you be chanting "Los Locos kick your butt!" When they wound models as well?

@Shadowsanddust I am quite interested in seeing your Gundam pics too if you care to post them. Not really sure what the Ankylosaurus rider is, but from the square base I'm guessing Sigmar? Looks cool though and your chaos warriors are pretty sweet

The Ankylosaurus rider is the Lizardmen/Seraphon Bastiladon from Warhammer Fantasty/AoS.

I thought I'd also mention that the ruins in the diorama are the AoS Azyrite Ruins. Being ancient ruins, I find that they actually scale pretty well with 1/144 scale Gundam kits.

My progress has once again slowed to a crawl (to the pub), got the majority of my stuff done and undercoated but the Earth Alliance fighters are a pain in the ass and having done three (this time, done another 15 earlier in the year) they are sapping my will to live. Fiddly little buggers and badly cast.

@ingtaer cheers mate. Yes I've got a redemptor dreadnought primed and ready for paint, and I intend to add a stormhawk for some extra fire support.

So my friend and I agreed on red black and grey for the avenger Cannon so we could share it and the carapace weapons since only one batch of each in the renegades box. But after finishing... I'm ready to strip and repaint. I need to figure out the multiple guns for that arm anyway.

Currently trying to rebuild, fix, clean of mould lines and paint all of these. Still need to buy sand for basing. Thinking paving sand and balast should work, and I get a 20% discount on huge bags

All, I need recommendations, I need to raise the area just in front of the Dreadnought as the angle for the legs is way to big to fit. Anything would help. I mean in front of this dreadnought. Sorry I should have said that.

Managed to get all mould lines removed, and all skin basecoated.

Even managed to get a "few" steps further with the big mek.
What do yall think?

I dig the conversion. If you don’t mind a recommendation, I would cut the original barrel off and then put the new one on.

Its not the barrel of the bolter, that has already been removed.
but i did debate weather or not to include the part.
