These seem to be pretty well done.

Judging by the little Nurgle Icon on the ground, it looks like it's a nurgling forcing his way through on the of the circles on the Icon Standard and he shoved the original symbol out.

Have got to say that I am loving this set. That icon bearer looks great.

This seems like a great way to get some different sculpts into my Death Guard.

So is there a traditionally decent way for non-Japanese fans to import these? A particularly regarded import shot? Something like the swap-loot-trip FB group?

Why are some of the pictures censored? Wait, these are from Japan. I've seen enough Hentai to know what's under the blurred out sections.

I just pre-order them from either Hobby Japan (hlj.com) or Amiami (amiami.com). Both of these sites are in English, and the shipping charges are very reasonable.

Because they're models we haven't seen yet.

These two guys have been seen a few times so far.

Nope, we haven’t seen the banner guy before.

Yup, I forgot it was the Sorcerer not the banner.

Thanks for the answer to my very real and serious question.

It looks like most of what was blurred is actually text from the article, a sprue shot that we've seen before, and artwork of the guy with the chemthrower. Nothing major or important.

I've been looking for the issue that this came from and haven't seen it yet either.

I was going to head to a larger book store today. If I see it I may just post the photos here myself...

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Going to have to have my brother pick these up when he goes back to Japan later this year.
I'm so pleased that they are switching chapters (and even doing 'non-Hersey era' chaos chapters). I could see Eldar, and tau doing well in Japan also, though, it kind of goes against calling the series 'Space Marine Heroes'. I also like that series one was regular marines, series 2 was terminators. Would like to see jump packs, or other specialized stuff for future series. But, I kind of like that the Plague marines are actually the 'heroes'. They seem to, from what we've seen, be a sorcerer, standard bearer, and heavy weapon.

Now watch them do a whole series of CSM with Reaper Chain cannons...

Looks like the maggotmancer/sorcerer already previewed is in the paint set:

Link to GW Yokohama Facebook page image

I guess this means he'll be exclusive to the paint set, rather than part of the main release, right?

That's a damned shame. Ah well. It's a nice enough model to suffer for. Certainly better than the plagued puffer-fish in the Dark Imperium box.

You know what they say: The first one's always free.

Or, in GW's case, the first one's needlessly inconvenient to acquire!

I'm mostly intrigued to see the 'pleb' level Deathguard. See, since GW decided to have solidly monopose for the main ones? Any variety is welcome. And the Series 1 plebs were pretty fancy for all their plebbishness.

GW Japan is going have pre sales of season 3 at an event on July 28th. They also said is not the only new thing they will have. They shared this teaser on twitter.

That's usually a horned skull (for Imperials, at least). I think the teased image is more likely to be a Captain or officer, judging by the Iron halo-like belt decoration.

Perhaps the 'secret' Captain from Series 1 will go on general release at this event?

+Edit+
Ah, not him – different detail on that model.

+Edit II – The Editing+
Actually, that abdomen detail looks like Primaris armour (odd little soft armour areas).

+Edit III – Revenge of the Editor +
Ah-ha! Perhaps this chap?

I just realized—that model has an iron halo. As far as I know Primaris Lieutenants don’t have invuln saves, though?

Although it’s more expensive for the box, at least that Plaguecaster isn’t a blind buy.
