Nice weather and the prospect of some outdoors gaming over the weekend meant there was no way I was going to finish my original entry so I needed to look for something quick to do instead. I went with this fellow, travelling in style with his metal balloon. Proof and WIP:

Motivation and energy at minimum levels at the moment so just completed one of the three. A Battle Ready Inceptor.
Pics not great due to stupid flight stand, which gave me a lot of trouble. You can see the terrible pinning job in the rear photo.

Two days stuck at a laptop watching a conference has given me the time to finish off my Death Guard Rhino. I was really happy with the interior - I was aiming for a futuristic ultra clean med bay vibe that had been utterly corrupted over the millennia. My first real go at making stuff with Milliput too so it might not be the most finessed job but it’s a milestone.

@Horla - that is a great piece. I love the weathering on the ramp, inside and out. I also like the fleshy bits being not so rotten looking. That looks like a Rhino that is coming for you, rather than being on the verge of falling apart.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Welp...it turned out ok I guess, but man I screwed up the face and every time I tried to fix it I'd just mar up another spot on it and so on...

On the plus side I am very happy with how the hair turned out, and for a first attempt at actually painting flames, I am pleased with how they turned out. But man, that face...was demoralizing. I might have to come back to this in a few weeks and see if I can salvage that.

Spoiler:

More for comparison, group photo with the Inquisitor I painted at the same time that turned out much better, even with that not being the best view of her...

Long story short, happy I finally did this project as I have been sitting on it for months, but just had hoped to make it look a little bit better.

Well, so much for not leaving things until the last minute! Two months and two late starts....hmmm.

Anyhow, here is my proof for this month - my test model vampire (she is meant to be flying).

So I put a few colors on the Ironclad, but found it too daunting with lots of little details. But to not miss a month here is a quick entry, needed some more cherubs for my sisters. And those buggers travel in style.

Proof (which I nearly forgot as evidenced by starting with the silver):

I present Brother Faustus, rolling in a Castraferrum pattern Furioso.

Built using the body of an AoBR dreadnought and the arms off the original metal furioso.

A few folks asking for time tomorrow, so I'm just going to add an extra day, anything in before tomorrow night wherever you're posting from is good to go.

I didn't think I'd be able to enter anything this month, but at the last minute I pulled this doomed gretchin and his (one-way) ride out of the pile and set to work. This is a Grot Bomb from Forgeworld.

Hi All

I took a bit of a break from things over the last few weeks and focused on trying to convert my garage into an office and sort my garden out so hobby stuff has taken a back seat.

Put together a last minute entry and worked on it while I was away with work this week.

How its looking with the last few mins of painting before midnight, will get some decent photos up tomorrow.

Sorry Para, no extension required for me after all! Two Leman Russ tanks from the Tallarn 331st Regiment, 2nd Armour Company (B); company commander in an Exterminator and the squadron leader for 2nd squad (Spades) in a Vanquisher:

I just got some desert dust weathering powder, but I'm not sure if I like the effect or not, hence why only one of them has it; any thoughts or comments from the group would be greatly appreciated!

Great work from everyone as usual, makes me a little embarrassed to enter this one. I was of two minds whether to enter this month at all - just not in the right headspace lately.
She is not my best job, but I decided that I don't want to spoil my three-year run by missing a month.

I am starting a Vampire Counts army (yes, Vampire Counts) and this is my first sorceress style vampire with the flight ability. As you can see, she is really just a colour test model and still has a long way to go as far as shading and details are concerned.
Still - I'm submitting her as is!

Best of luck to everyone!

Can I change my entry to a Telemon I painted this month? I'm really uninspired to paint the scout biker. It's a vehicle but it moves on two feet. Did I miss the boat on this?

I was about to post that I’m dropping out. But, with an extra day I think I can make it. I have the warp cannon all but finished. Just need to slap some paint on the rats and I’ll post pictures after that.
