Hulk looks great! I’m “green” with envy the way you painted him.

That Hulk is incredible. I am impressed with the way the paint so accurately follows Hulk's musculature, and yet retains a lightness, an almost comic sense of illustration. The visible brush strokes give it an animated feel that works really well.
Nice job. It got me excited to see the rest of the models coming out, too.

Exalted.

Thank you, guys!

Glad you like the look. Sounds like it is being read as intended (mostly. some stuff still happens by accident). I wanted a bright, comic look.
Clean, but not TOO clean.

Rollover!

The Wraithguard and Hulk both look smashing. I really love the pseudo cell shading touches on Hulk such as his hair and fabulous purple pantaloons.

The conversion work on the Wraithguard is really intuitive and natural looking...have we got any Dino riders on the horizon?

Thanks, ListenToMeWarriors!

There will be dinos eventually. A unit of riders and then a larger single model. Won't be for a bit, though. Need to finish the WG, then the next unit is dragon-cloaked infantry. Riders may come after that.

Hulk is Smashing... sorry bad pun I know! The cell shading style looks really cool on him, great work. Glad your mojo has returned, even if adulting is getting in the way of hobbying.

Love the vibrant colors! Top job indeed!

Motivation comes and goes.
Going trough some hobby hiatus as well. I have painted a grand total of... 5 quick tabletop minis since the end of May. The number is not likely gonna go much higher before the end of summer.

I think that both Punisher and Venom (I think? My knowledge of the comic book characters is limited) look excellent. I especially love the deep purple to pink to near white transition on the missile launcher and Venom's red tongue. They really help the miniatures pop and fit the aesthetic of the minis perfectly.

Keep in ploughing on and eventually the motivation issues will subside, ultimately this is a hobby and meant to be fun. There is nothing to gain from beating yourself up about it.

Another pair of cool minis youwashock. As LTMW pointed out the pink glow on Punishers missile launcher is really great. You must’ve been really careful with the star on the muzzle!
