I do like that much better than the standard Warp Wolf. Just something about it's neck that isn't right. (the old one that is)

I also originally felt that this pureblood was particularly derivitive of the Rackham stuff. However, quickly scanning the catalogue, Rackham's wulfen seem more humanesque. The similarity is there, but I think this model is seemingly more bestial.

They managed to avoid the rat-ogre look, which is great. Overall a much better mini in my eyes.

I give it four Delicious Fruit Tokens out of five.

Hrm. Looks pretty mediocre to me. Better than the ratesque Warpwolf but still very meh. The ridiculously slender hips are particularly bad. This seems to be continuing the trend of pretty poor sculpts (frost troll, anyone?). I am disappointed. They need to get Paniagua to do more sculpts....

He can be forced to become a Spirit Hunter or make another
Warpwolf a Spirit Hunter, which allows it to hunt magic only
models.

Anyone know how many magic only models are out there to hunt?

About two and a half.
There are two incorporial units for Cryx (Machine and Pistol Wraith) and one Warcaster that can become incorporial. (that's the half)
And that's Warmachine
None for Hordes that I'm aware of.

I think that's it. With all the abilities to combat magic only stuff cropping up in Hordes it has me wondering what PP is planning for the future.

It can attack and damage Vilmon in Invincible Wall, too.

Also, it can move like an incorporeal, just not charge or slam.

Varghar makes a better warpwolf than the Devourers do in my opinion.
