Got my hands on the new AT43 rulebook last night, as per usual with Rackham, the quality is high. All colour for about £18... did you hear that GW?

Anyway have had a quick look through it and the future of AT43 looks good as far as I can see. I bought the starter box and liked it, yes the rules are very basic, but the new rulebook has the full rules in it now (haven't delved too much yet, but looking good).

There's a new race coming called the Karman's, which are basically Gorillias in powerarmour, and I have to say they look bloody good (just 1 photo with 3 in it... and I'm sure that one of them is chomping on a cigar!).

Bit more background on the races and the invasion. There's some nice looking models to come as well, if the photos are anything to go by.

It would be nice to see this system at some more clubs and see if we can get some of the kids to open their minds to other games. Gotta be worth ago, especially as mum & dad don't have to paint & assemble them

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

I am still eagerly awaiting that book to arrive here locally. Could you do a bit of reading and tell me if the translation problems in damocles are still present in this volume?

I really want at-43 to be a good game, but if I have to translate it into english, then they may as well have left it in french for me. Which is to say, bad english translations are just as readable in french to me, as in not at all.

It is better than the damocles translation which was in a bit of a hurry.... but still not that bad.
