Personally I think its great! I don't condone all of Americas ideals, but in terms of development I can't fault this. Its significant that the UK is so far behind, even now.....we as Brits want to mix it up with the big boys but don't have the toys to play in the sand box...its embarrasing ( like my spelling ).....

Not quite a Space Marine though, and more like a Power Ranger.....perhaps the UK will take the "Dolly the sheep" experiment a bit further and we'll be the first to create a Custodian Guard type warrior.....would that make Blair the Emperor?

Dont be. Training and skillwise the British military is lightyears ahead of the US.
Heck, the SEALS get trained by Belgian dudes , how embarrassing is that ? :-)

Why would it be embarassing? It's intelligent to take training from the best people- anything else would be arrogance.

Uh, maybe that's because we don't have the technology yet and this is just a mockup of what it might look like in The Future?  You know, to prove that you deserve funding and stuff...

Wait, were you being sarcastic?  I can't tell if you were just trying to be clever...

Clever? You obviously don't know Beef, 'Don.

I just got off the phone with the Future and he said that in 2010, the armed forces of the North American Union will consist of multiple types of Combat Drones, from the palm sized assassin sphere, to the multi-ton "I'm the Juggernaut, B!tch" heavy combat chassis, all operated by gravitationally challenged community college dropouts. Wars will have to stop periodically in case the operators need to go on food runs, or make BM. Drone OPEratorS, or DOPES, will receive medals for particularly righteous kills. These medals can be redeemed for food or downloadable content from the Interwebs.

I don't know.  Sometimes it's hard to distinguish between the work of a comedic genius and an idiot savant.

For example, I'm pretty sure that Air Force One is unintentionally hilarious (though I could be wrong) while Starship Troopers is intentionally hilarious (even though there are certainly people too dull to get the joke).  Then there are movies like Con Air which I almost can't imagine are supposed to be serious, until I look out the window at the yardapes next door and then I'm not so sure.

But it gets even more subtle than that.  Sometimes I get the feeling that something isn't meant to be funny to anyone except the guy who created it.  For example, though the The Fly probably isn't intended to be a comedy, I found it to be a laugh riot (because I am a Bad Person) and I also get the feeling that David Cronenberg thought so too (because he is also a Bad Person).  I mean come on - he gave himself a cameo as the gynecologist during the maggot-birth scene.  That guy's an a$$hole!

You guys have got it all wrong, before they became space marines they were extras in "Attack of the Clones"

"The White Scars would probably be more popular if the words blood , black , or dark where in their name somewhere"
The more shots you take, the better chance you have at killing something, and the better chance you have at winning. The sooner you realize that, the sooner there will be fewer people playing space marines

You don't think randomly type in the words "sheep" for various web names
to see what kind of arousals I can find?

Anyway, fair warning: I don't know when the last time he updated was.
I first saw the website when Warren Ellis posted the link on the old forums
(I think it was his old forums). Must have been several years ago...

And I've been trying to find it ever since! But thanks to Jester, I automatically
remembered the word "spiders" and googled spiders and webcomic which
lead me to e-sheep.

I just finished reading through and while he's working on part 4, spiders is definitely a part time/after work labor of love thing and hasn't been touched since 2003. My guess is he managed to get a real job and it's inhaling his time.
