It sounds like the customer service dept seems to be working hard to fix issues and the newer stuff seems to be doing better. People are getting replacements. Give them a ring and tell them your issue. You paid for quality, get quality.

There are certain things that cannot be undone. There were assurances made during the campaign that cannot be made right. No amount of improved QC will fix those issues.

I don't agree - especially if the 'quality' of the casts is now improved.

I mean, every city has the "World's Best Pizza" right?

IF CC can match the renders to sculpts and improve the casting, I'd think most would be happy with that.

They insisted there were no problems with their casts and blamed bad photos for making the details appear soft, before sending out all those soft casts though. So how do I know if my soft casts are the best they can do, or a mistake that should be replaced?

I think that was the 'old' CC though, right?

Maybe the 'new' CC - the people who bought all the whatever they bought - will be open to getting you a better cast?

Hard to tell, they didn't reply.

In all honesty, seeing how people are getting proper fix replacements and the new guys seem to be trying to right wrongs...I really kinda want to get one of the pincer demons.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Do you think they might replace the Treegal I got? It looks like dollar store plastics.

Thanks for joining, and dang, those look really great!

I agree with you about the wings of the Vulture demon, they don't seem to match the rest of the model. But other than that, your builds look epic - I really like the choice of which parts to use that you made in assembling them

Honestly all the pics I've seen make the casts look PVC quality in terms of definition and detail.

Yea, my tree woman is a little closer to an ok Wrath of Kings model than a really nice resin. Merely ok. I don't hate her, but they are not getting all they could out of the material, either because of poor sculpting, prints, casting, or all three.

Yeah, I'll second that opinion. A lot of the pictures I've seen remind me of the large Reaper Bones models in terms of definition/detail. A little bit more detailed, but nothing close to something like Mierce, and definitely not worth the asking price.

Yeah, I'm glad I didn't go for the Vulture daemon. GW's new LoC smashes that out of the park

Got my Pincer Demon,
A few minor mold slips, some gaps to fill, overall, it looks pretty great.

Honestly I think im the only one who give these models MORE worth because of this fiasco.

So the saga continues! You may recall I was promised replacement kits. Unfortunately, whoever packed up this shipment failed to declare that these were free replacement parts and instead declared the value at the full retail price. So when I returned from leave I had a nasty surprise of a bill for over £52!

I have now had a chance to inspect my package and with regards to the emperor dragon I am pleased to note that the quality of the pieces received is generally crisper than the previous cast, especially the howdah.

The mountain dragon still lacks detail on the wings, but more to the point, neither dragon has been sent complete with the Kickstarter exclusive parts and if you recall from my review the warped head of the mountain dragon, the alternate head of the emperor dragon and the alternate (armourless) neck pieces were the main pieces that needed to be replaced - these pieces have not been shipped to me!!

There is no sign of a jackalope thwt was promised and no sign of the second shipment that CC said might have been sent out in error. I have raised these concerns with CC and am awaiting their response.

Sadly even replacement parts have to be declared at retail value (I know I've had that argument with customs before)

although you may be able to claim back the tax element (not the pound of flesh from the delivery company) from HMRC after the fact

Hello Dakka Peeps

I've painted up my Maggot Daemon. There have been some minor issues with the sculpt, but I don't think these were any worse than resin I've gotten from Forgeworld. Pleased with the final product. I'm going to have a stab at the Vulture Daemon next

After waiting for an email after 6 months. They eventually sent my pledge

I commented on the Kickstarter comments section.

This really is not worth the money. The quality is distinctly average and the resin is on par with plastic moulding kits. Very soft. Also no extras come with the kit. Maybe For the price I was expecting studio quality resin with a sharpness that these guys cannot produce. Also you can get the pieces cheaper at the store than I paid for it on the kickstarter.
So was it worth it. I would say no and I wouldnt back anything from Jeremy Glen again and I would advise other people away from him.

I have resin pieces from all over the world from different sculptors and these really are just average Sprue level quality. Not anything special pretty much Like Jeremy Glenn.
