What do you guys think about the following scenario.  Your entire infantry is dug in and gone to ground.  You move one transport with an infantry team lets say ontop of a hill to cover it with a machine gun.  Do you like the rule, that now the whole platoon counts as moving?  Why can't it be just that team?  What do you guys think?

Well, considering that most of the rolling for FoW is due to being able to see the target to shoot, and that the transport is giving away the infantry's position, it would make sense.... Not to mention from a playability stand point as well... do you think that just because less than half the unit moves the inf should be able to maintain concealed and GTG for the whole platoon? Or do you think that you should roll for the two seperately?

FoW's system may not be perfect (as in this example) but you will find that the mechanics even if abstract allow for a pretty accurate representation of WWII combat.

Yeah those are good points.  I agree.  And if you want to do that kind of move then just use two platoons.  One that has GTG and the other moves.
