So, we've got the Shire inbound

It's just those parts? Are you supposed to use polystyrene to build the hill?

It’s just those parts (£20 I believe) with the front double sided for variety. You need to make your own front out of foam, polystyrene, filler, etc

Thats not like GW. They've always done complete kits.

Not that I disapprove of course.

These are coming from Forge World rather than main GW and are referring to them as Terrain upgrade kits so will hopefully
See similar kits in the future.

I feel sorry for the horse having that big ol' shield clunking against his front leg like that. I know my horses wouldn't tolerate something smacking their front leg right above the knee.

Other than that, I really like those sculpts. I'm going to assume you could assemble the figure with the shield in a different spot.

New Hobbits and Ruffians are really nice models!

The original Scouring of the Shire is one of my favourite supplements and was accompanied by some of the best sculpts in the range. Great to see the expansion of the range have as much character, hope the contents of the book will be similarly terrific.

Well gotta pick up that army of the dead banner bearer, and may be buying the warriors of the fiefdoms too. I need more clansman, and you can’t have to many axemen!

Some sort of preview today 21BST(so 23.00 for me...). Also witch king and tainted are "no longer available online". Repackaging? Though hard to see how those could be repackaged and if so why not the rest?

Well the Tainted was metal and the Witch King finecast, so it could be something to do with the material. Could just be a repackaging or just doing the oop rotation for a few months. Or being the wraiths, they could be getting the FW treatment now. Maybe there will be something about it tonight.

New Preview stuff. Plastic king of the dead and heralds (and glow in the dark dice). Sexy as hell. Profile cards for each faction, very useful.
New Made to order. Including the ORIGINAL metal orcs and twilight wraiths and the kings of men and dwarf kings...forgive me credit card for i must sin...
And next supplement confirmed to be Rohan based.

Satisfied for this one. Dead models look gourgeous and I already have dead army(just got 3 riders of dead as it is). Also starting to paint moria force next month so those armoured ones as blackshield=yes please. And as rohan and isengard force owner that supplement ought to be full of material for me!

Rest isn't bad either but those 3 are the highlights for me.

Lovely, will have to add those new dead banner bearers as a minimum, will be sorely tempted by metal orcs too!

I'm grabbing the orcs and running them all as captains. You'll never run out of unique poses with a set of those.

Fantastic plastic miniatures again for the AOTD. The existing King of the Dead sculpt is very lifeless (excuse the pun), so it's nice to see a new sculpt which is literally taken from a shot in ROTK.

I actually can't believe that they've finally put the original metal orcs on order at last! They'll be flooded with orders for them! Outside of four more metal spearmen I actually don't need anymore OG orcs, so I'll just wait for them to filter through to eBay.

Great to see sculpts like the Kings of Men/Dwarves and Twilight Ringwraiths back too. My wallet can sleep easy though this time, as I have everything I want.

Looking forward to seeing where Rohan goes- I hope the Pelennor Fields Eomer gets a re-release, and I might grab any outstanding metal sculpts I have soon in case they disappear.

Not pictured but mentioned, is the old metal Moria goblins are coming MTO too, so you might be better off with those.

Umm those were the ones I referred with armoured ones.

Oooh a Rohan supplement has got to include Dunlendings right? I know they played a reduced role in the films but fingers crossed!
