Uhh just looked at my Eldritch Omens box that arrived today. Maaaan, the new Autarch looks so cool on the sprue!

After finally finishing the last of the mobs for Massive Darkness, got to move onto a couple of the monsters, a troll and a naga type thing.

Been working my way through the base box on and off for a few months and its so nice to finally stop batch painting tiny dwarf/goblin/orcs and get onto something a bit more unique and significantly larger!

I mean, I still have 3 expansion boxes and then the entire gigantic Massive Darkness 2 collection to work through, but it's looking really nice to have the main box almost all done.

Off to the FLGS this evening for 3 hours of painting HH resin cataphractii terminators (squad of 10) and drilling and magnetising arms and weapons for them.
Will watch movies on ipad whilst doing so.

Paused work on Knights.

Painting Genestealers - going for an approximation of their original Space Hulk look. Carapace has been painted blue, now am painting a lighter base of Celestra Grey on their flesh before adding the next colors, am thinking Rakarth Flesh before a drybrush of pink.

One more weekend day was needed to get them done for wednesday game but should be pretty close to done anyway.

Here's the "mostly finished" product. Can't decide what to have summoning up in his hand.

Have considered just sourcing a squirrel or some other small creature to have him appear to be a bit more "Guardian of the Forest".

I bought a job lot of 2nd-3rd edition Orks and Grots, plus three random metal Terminators, so I'll be working on those for a while. This is my first greenskin project, so I'm enjoying painting nonhuman flesh tones, as well as trying to go for that classic old-school Goff color scheme with a lot of vibrant red to offset the black.

Finished last models for 2k painted dok army, just in time for game tomorrow.

Also moved 3d printer to storage room to reduce noice issue. Now just need to figure where to put boxes i had to take out of that room to make space

Assembled three plastic Cherub models...one was missing the censor, so I improvised with some sort of relic sword.

Need to highlight the metal and finish the backpacks but 3d printed Kreig Heavy weapons team is mostly finished.

More 30K terminator painting. Hopefully this week finish the last 10, then wait for the new 30K transfer sheets for markings.

Finished the Genestealers to 'an acceptable tabletop standard' (tm).

Discovered too late that GW Fulgrim Pink goes over Reaper Ocean Blue very well without any need for a lighter color as a preliminary base. Could have saved a "day" of painting.

Now I return to my AdMech! The plan is to finish the equivalent of a squad a week (10 infantry models, or one vehicle, or an approximately equivalent surface-area) to 'an acceptable tabletop standard' (tm).

If I can, I'll simultaneously try to paint one Armiger per week until I have 3 for a Patrol force to begin educating my friends and self in their small Knightly ways.

Primed two plastic Cherub models. Saved some cardboard cutout backing to use with granny grating for a terrain project.
