Already done!

These guys are Divisional Support for my ParanormalGrenadierCompay that protects Castle Wolfenstein (one of my objective markers converted out of a resin kit) and the Dimensional Gate (another Objective, think Hellboy).

I use the Donner as a Tiger 1E with the Valkurie as a Panzer III attachment. Just straight up 'counts as'. The only problem comes from them being turretless, as you need to be able to move the turret for side armour assesment. A simple counter took care of that.

I've just gotten a REALLY good deal on a unit of 5 Longstreets

I'm going to use them as a Sherman III squadron for my Superscience Parachute Rifle Company (Mid War). You can usually find these models in bargain bins as DP9 seems to be on the 'outs' with most gaming stores here in Canada. Great for me!

My next thing up will be getting some of the German Zombie infantry. Those I'll have to make up rules for... probably Fearless Conscripts with some kind of spawning rule when they assault infantry. I'll probably make them immune to pinning as well.

Anyway, a good thought! Post pics if you do it.

PS: It's 'Gear Krieg'.

Great pics Achilles! I am wondering what scale Krieg is. Same as FOW? My orginal idea was to use CAV rules and minis but in a WWII superscience setting. Your idea to use mechs "count as" FOW tigers is easier and who can say that is accurate or not (ya based on what). Hum... can you take a 1500 pt all tiger, err, all mech army of 4

You could take a Panther Company, which would give you plodding, slow super armoured killing tanks that sometimes breakdown (sounds like experimental technology to me!).

You could also just take a PanzerCompany and substitute the rules for IV F1 or F2s for your walkers. Remember, just because they walk around doesn't mean they aren't made with the same materials or with the same type of armour as contemporary tanks of their day.

Anyway, I'm just using them to have fun with... and blow historical gamers minds (they get in such a flap! It's hilarious!). But Battlefront says I can use any WWII models I want, so they just have to deal with my Castle Wolfenstein background for my army.

Achilles, did you consider using Battletech minis for walkers. Or CAV? My CAV walker is going to be a Rhino with a sherman tank turret head. The CAV Orge is perfect as is for a super walker Panzer. For FOW we need to have not only tank shock for inf. but walker inf stomping rules.....ideas

I'll never touch Battletech minis... not a fan. CAV models are kinda neat, but getting them in Ontario isn't the easiest thing in the world and to be honest, I've got all the walker models I need in the GK stuff (which I've found a lot of in dead mini bins for dirt cheap).

I don't really plan on fiddling with the FOW rules very much... just proxying my walkers as other tanks (easier for my opponents to wrap their heads around that). In all honesty the Super Science stuff is just a way for me to get interested in Historical gaming in general, as in the past I've found I've lost interest in it really fast because it's a bit dry.

Have fun though! Make sure you post pics of your conversions when you do them, they sound neat.
