As in the eldar codex it says that a Fire Prism can forfiet their chance to fire in favour of linking up, does this mean that they can link up when shaken/stunned?

 

I personally don't think that they can, as they don't have the option of firing to forfeit if they are shaken. But as shaken means that they may not fire next turn (p67), can they still elect to do something other than shoot? (eg, linking or popping smoke launchers?)
