After getting all my necrons into their new foam trays I discovered that I'd made a miscalculation & that they would not all fit in my existing case...
I solved this by picking up a Battle Foam PACK 1520 case.

I've gone crazy over the 2000AD aesthetic and have started collecting Blackstone Fortress miniatures to use in Rogue Trader (or a new DIY KillTeam ruleset I'm brainstorming ATM).

Also bought the Euclidian Starstriders sprue for some more Rogue Trader minis!

Next up will probably be more cool looking single miniatures from the existing GW & FW lineup. Its much more fun to collect single minis than Armies somehow!

I found the same pretty quickly after coming back to the hobby. I enjoy painting single miniatures more then large groups of miniatures. Just cannot get into painting lots of the same.

OK ,my recent purchases are more Burrows and Badgers miniatures and another lot of second hand paint. One vital purchase was a tub of brush soap.

Remember not to wash my brush out in coffee cup today.

Contagious Dreadnought of Nurgle

I'm planning on going big on Orks this year, but I made a list of minis I want/ have to paint before really starting off with the orks (that means, buying about 100Boys from various sources). Problem is, there are about 100 models on that list already
But to start soft I've ordered Gitstompa and Nikkit and the Kommandoz Team from artelw though.

Venturing into AOS for the first time this year. Had a handful of Nurgle Demons from a while back which I enjoyed painting so decided to head down that way.
Gone for Maggotkin so picked up the book, the SC Maggotkin of Nurgle box, a Great Unclean one and a Gnarlwood to get started with. Fully intend to build the army up based around the idea of the classic Chaos warband, lots of rag-tag units, Skaven, Beastmen, Chaos Warriors, monsters all dedicated to Papa Nurgle.

A couple of recent WD issues as they have additional Squig/Troll/Spider list rules for my Gloomspites.
A box of SoB Penitent Engines/Mortifiers as I have a great idea for an RPG character/enemy after seeing these models on the table.
Illuminor Szeras - because hey, 1 more Necron to try & fit in my already very full case....

Ordered the main BSF boxed set so now I'm only missing two more expansions and I have all the models in the range! I'm not even sure I'll be digging the game itself, but just have to get all those wonderful models. Rechecked the KillTeam Annual 2019 datasheets and sure enough most of the BSF minis will have sheets for KillTeam

Plus some more bitz for my BA army in the making. Still need a bunch of empty pistol holsters, I'll need at least 6 more..

Bought a Vindicare Assassin model to replace a part I lost for the Vinidcare Assassin I'm currently working on for 75 NZD. I feel like an idiot, 40k is just so expensive here, I don't buy much a GW so, it's not too bad, I guess. I might convert the new model to my Inquisitor NPC Azakir Halgriv of my ongoing Rogue Trader campaign, which I will be unlikely to get around to doing.

The Angaran Chronicles: Hamar Noir. After coming back from a dangerous mission which left his friend and partner, the werewolf: Emilia in a coma. Anargrin is sent on another mission: to hunt down a rogue vampire. A rogue vampire with no consistent modus operandi and who is exceedingly good at hiding its tracks. So much so even the veteran Anargrin is forced into desperate speculation. But worst of all: drive him into desperate measures. Measures which drives Anargrin to wonder; does the ends, justify the means?

Managed to find someone selling this guy cheap:
Spoiler:

He had a bunch of other stuff as well, including the Imperial Space Marine, but decided to just stick with the Captain.

What can I say, I like Ltd. Ed. minis. I own so many of them.

I initially didn't understand the appeal of limited edition minis, although the space marines are worth getting simply because you can't get those loadouts anywhere else.
