Helloa,

Enough people had asked me about my tyranid schemes that I finally got around to turning the process into a proper tutorial.  Plenty of photos and step-by-step discussion (if maybe a bit wordy in places) are included.

Tyranid Painting Tutorial

It focuses on my two schemes, the 'desert flower' and 'blue crab' types as seen on my site Necrotales, but should be easily adapted to a wide variety of other nature inspired schemes.

Hope it's useful for folks.  Thanks!

I just love your website. Your tutorials are a great help, easy to understand and very entertaining too!

it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Excellent, glad folks found it useful.

Hopefully should have a bunch more up in the coming months.  Photographing and writing them up usually takes a bit of time, though, so I have to pace myself between my usual frantic painting routines.
