  Hi, y'all!

I just put together a Space Wolf member of the Deathwatch for my Ordo Xenos Inquisitor's retinue, and I'm wondering about the shoulder pad.  I vaguely recall that the 2nd edition Space Wolves codex has nice pictures of the various Great Company badges, but I don't have it any more.  I checked the 3rd edition codex and How to Paint Space Marines, but they didn't have what I was looking for.  Can anyone describe the "Nightrunner" (or was it "Alarik Nightrunner"?) Company Badge, please?

Also, looking through the Index Astartes article on the Deathwatch, I saw that the Space Wolf had an unusual Great Company badge (or that's what I assumed it was).  It was a red diamond with a wolf skull and crossbones.  Can anyone ID that badge?

Thanks as usual for assisting me with my highly obscure requests.

Still trying to operate tape cassettes

The skull and crissbones over the diamond is a Veteran marking, I believe. Most probably Wolf Guard.

Now now people make space for the me the ultimate walking encyclopedia on SW.

Answer to question 1 its a wolf head with the moon silowet (sp). check my link

second answer is I have only seen it used on Ulrick banner. However Jlmb is right its used as a vet marking but remeber the wolf gaurd markings are always done in yellow and black, the colours of a fenrisian noble. It most proabbly a capmain badge most likely.

Its not a great company badge as SW have that on the opposit shoulder but then its again its a SW and they dont follow a set of rules for these sort of things.

Anyway check the link.  the picture came out opposite so the company marking should be facing the opposite direction
