They've been posted about here since they were first doing greens. I think they're 40mm+ (?). Gorgeous stuff, though...

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

is that inquisiter scale or just smaller?

Significantly smaller than Inquisitor scale.

Inquisitor is 54mm, Warhammer Fantasy and 40K are 32mm (in theory), but many of the models are closer to 34mm.

40mm is larger than 40K, but smaller than Inquisitor. Think slightly bigger than Terminator-size (but for normal grunts).

They are 40mm scale. Inquisitor is 54mm, 40k/WHFB are supposedly 28mm heroic (really closer to 30mm-32mm) and LotR is true 28mm. They've been out in very, very limited runs of 500 castings or so and, IIRC, are cast resin. Lovely figures, I believe Black Library was the distributor.

This is Awesome, is what this is. I'll be getting Saucefleem when they get to her, but she's dead last. They come in cute little tins and such, cost loads, only come from BL, are made of nice resin, etc. Funny thing about scale, there are some conversions on that site that use 40k / fantasy bits that don't look too out of scale.

I e-mailed them and asked if there'd be FM to buy at Games Days and such, and was told no, you really do have to buy from BL over in the UK. Hence me waiting for the one I really want, instead of splash buying a half dozen now.

They're nice. I'm not sure I'll get anything though. A little too esoteric for me tastes. (Same thing that turns me off of a lot of Rackham stuff honestly.)

i never did find a link on the BL site to buy these...you have to go to the FM website, and it links ya to a section of the BL store to buy 'em...they are all 15 quid plus shippin'...they are pretty much just a collectors series...if you like john blanche's art, and werner klocke's sculptin', then these are the dog's bollocks...if ya don't, then they are just over-priced pieces of resin...i personally had to go change my shorts when they first became available about 6 months ago...
haven't bothered to get any yet though, as i'm always busy paintin' other people's minis...

cheers

I remeber there was some scuttlebutt about these being a vanity project for Blanche that GW was not fully behind hence the poor marketing, high prices and odd scale.
