Pine Sol works much better than Simple Green, in my experiences.....and I've been stripping a bunch of plastic recently. Let the models soak in Pine Sol for about 1-3 hours and scrub with an old toothbrush. The primer should just slide right off (crevices can be harder to get to).
A word of warning though with Pine Sol. It will soften up the plastics over time, so avoid leaving the models soaking in it for a prolonged period of time (overnight can be too long, esecially if there are thinner pieces of plastic on the model). This is not a problem with Simple Green, but Simple Green (even the concentrated version of it) and Brake Fluid are second class to Pine Sol in paint removal.
