With plastics and no integrated heads (hallelujah!) headswaps are the easiest thing in the world.

I recon some AOS elf heads will look sweet on those as well as some reaver heads or whatever..

It's a helmet not their actual "skull" head, so the hair is either decorative (its part of the helmet) or its hair threaded through part of the helmet when its fitted and the hair is connected to the Eldar within the armour.

I literally can’t read the leaked datasheets of the banshees, blades and avatar. I hope someone else can :/

EDIT: alright I’ve managed to make out the wraith blades and the swords seem very good. But the shields make them mad tough so seems pretty balanced which is sick. Can’t quite see much for the banshees but the mirror swords now seem to give the leaders 8 attacks which is amazing.

Wow. Nice stuff. Blendy banshees and a beam attack (and plenty of chop) from the Avatar.

Point values will determine if they are efficient, but at least they look effective. Which is more than they were before.

If not I’ll just re-base my old one on a pile of smoldering corpses big enough to bring his silhouette in line with the new guy.

Avatar: Not bad. Degradation isn't too bad, and sweeping strike helps keep the loss attacks from being hideous.
Little bit of a shame for not ignoring flamers or melta, but the constant 1/2 damage is reasonable good (rounding up keeps it from being great)

Banshees: what's an executioner for again? Between 8 attacks and +1 to wound on the charge, I kind of want mirror swords always, unless I have a hankering for some ranged attacks.

There are obviously targets that make S5 and 2 damage better, but the mirror swords seem more complementary to the squads output. (no losing wounds on some targets- especially 3W targets), and better at generalist sweeping.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

Mirror swords are more generally flexible, but the executioner is better vs. T4 2W stuff. Excelling vs. the basic marine stat line is not a bad niche to be in.

Just wondering if anyone would wear a pony tail while going into combat so it could blow around and block your vision and interfere with shooting your missile launcher. Sounds like a dumb idea. And the enemy could grab it and screw up your neck. There is a reason that soldiers shave their heads and don’t give the enemy stuff to grab onto.

The pony tail on top of the helms is in fact a distraction for the enemy snipers who aim for the head. These are irrefutable realistic warfare modern day tactics...

While I agree, it's a problem with the current version of the game not making use of keywords on weapons. I'd rather not have a chunky paragraph listing all the current examples for such a rule, which then has to be updated when future books are released if they include new ones.

Who knows, maybe we'll get that in 10th...

The top knot could easily enough be given some lame explanation to be sophisticated tech interacting with the eldar to give exact wind conditions or something. But why would we want such nonsense.
In the end,the Aeldari are far suprior and more sofisticated than any other races. To wear a traditional ornate armour and still excell in anihilating the enemy is just one indication of their superiority.

Because it looks cool. In 40k, that trumps realistic combat moves.

I personally don’t really care either way-they look fine, but not super inspired. But don’t come to 40k for realism-you won’t get it.

I added additonal leaks regarding Harlequins, vehicle upgrades and ranged weapon profiles for Corsairs and Harlequins from the Aeldari Discord server to the first post.

Also, Warp Spiders are not part of the release wave this year, according to the leaker.

I'd hope we get one more Aspect upgraded this round. There's still Scorpions, Hawks, Spiders and Dragons to go and that's quite a number, esp when Banshee were updated quite a while ago.

Heh, the shuriken catapult is a shuriken rifle now ? Haven't been paying much attention lately, is this name change recent ?

Also : I'm not seeing any lasblasters in the Corsairs ranged weapon profiles.. sad :-(

Shuriken catapults keep their name.

Shuriken rifles seem to be a new type of weapon for the Corsairs, probably replacing their old lasblasters.

Not going to argue that we don’t need/want to get more done. But the Banshee’s were not that long ago. Are they our most recent kit? From late 8th?

OK, it’s been a few years, but in Eldar release time, it’s like yesterday.

Do Banshee Exarchs still get Exarch powers? Saw no mention of specifics in the leak.

I admit I kind of liked the additional Exarch power options in Phoenix Rising, such as the ones that required a certain weapon loadout. Piercing Strike required an Executioner and allowed for sacrificing Attack for more Strength, while Whirling Blades gave additional bonus Attack if armed with Mirrorswords. I also liked the idea of Nerve-Shredding Shriek, 4+ to inflict D3 MW on charge, showing the Banshee mask effect honed to the point of literally being lethal. These I think gave the feel of different Shrines having different styles even while being of the same Aspect.

Pretty sure all Exarchs will maintain choosing an Exarch Power based on rumors.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Thx for clarifying, much appreciated. Still disappointing if they were to lose their trademark lasblasters.

Hoping that the additional wargear options (not shown in discord potato pic) still allow them to have jump packs..

..that being said, with the Corsairs apparently getting their first release with/for Kill Team (and seeing as how there's
not a single jump-pack equipped unit in any roster), I'm not holding my breath.
