I decided to make my own rules, mainly because I'm tired of painting sooo many models (I play orks), and I wanted to have some dead 'ard 'umies to play with. They're similar to Movie Marines, but without all the "movie" crap. I'm trying to make them balanced, and after a test game (where I owned a Nidzilla army O.o) I toned them down a bit. Let me know what you think. Joe Marines Special Rules: Fearless Independent Characters Deepstrike (Terminator, Assault Marine) Night Vision Feel No Pain (Captain, Librarian, Terminator, Veteran) Kill Them All! - Once a marine is killed, he may make a shooting attack against the closest target. Powered Armor - A Space Marine with Powered Armor has an armor save of 3+, and an invulnerable save of 3+. Both saves are rerollable if failed. Terminators have an armor save of 2+, and all models come with Auspexes. Killing Machines - Space Marines count as monstrous creatures for the purposes of being shot at, and shooting their weapons. Crystalline Psychic Hood - A Librarian with this counts as being equipped with a psychic hood. Also, the wearer gets a 2+ save against the effects of Perils of the Warp Psychic Powers: The Librarian can use his force weapon ability even if he uses his psychic powers. Tempest - 12" Str 8 Ap 3 Assault D3 Solar Flare: Nightfight rules are no longer in effect. Use before the game starts, but after deployment.
