Thank you, everyone!

I feel it's fair to say I have devoted more time and effort to depicting the female form.

Final pics of Roland, the Astartes gunslinger. Hile! Long days and pleasant nights.

And another drawing. Back in school I spent a lot of time drawing cavorting angel girls and devil girls. Later in life I drew one that was both.

Thanks for looking!

Rollover!

Thank you all for the compliments.

A little ka-tet for our hero? Interesting idea, Guardling.

Also shout-out to your Spiral drawing, I've always liked her - and I don't think I've ever seen her without her tiara thing??

Thank you, guys!

Boss Salvage, I didn't read the book when she was on the team, but it looks like she ditched her helmet.

Work continues. I think I am done with Hannah's face.

Not the best pic, but hopefully you can see her eyes under the goggles.

Wow, that model looks great. When are you gonna post more drawings? They're great in my opinion.

Thanks, ShadowsAndDust. Glad you are liking them.

Finished Hannah Sharp, Falcon Scout. Another lovely lady from Limbo Division. Really wish I had bought this one in 70 mm, as she is one of my favorites from them.

And another drawing. This time the ladies of the Scoobie gang getting ready to do work.

Wow, she is thicc (apologies if I used the term wrong!)! Great work especially the black nmm on her gun and the blue glow on the base

Thanks, gobert. Much appreciated. And yes, thicc is an appropriate term.

No time for paint since finishing Hannah, but here's my take on my favorite Universal Monster, with a rare WiP shot I took before inking. This is from 2017 or so.

Thank you, Cap'n.

Primed the Champion. And that's about it. Feeling highly unmotivated. Contemplating entering the monthly comp to try to get something going. I can surely paint one model this month that I was planning to paint already, right?

And what should be the last couple drawings. Unless I start up again. You never know.

Those drawings are really great! And that pinup model you painted a few posts back turned out pretty great too. It's fun to paint those type of models, as I've learned with my 3D printed Drukhari Succubus (I really need to finish her off one of these days...).

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):

The Creature is one of my favorites too, it's nice to have a monster that you can root for in the end! Great ink-work.

Also I dig the Gunslinger. Hope he makes it to the Blackstone Tower one of these days.

Thank you all very much for the comments. Glad you liked the drawings, the support is appreciated.

Been working some. Less than I should be, certainly. But progress is progress.

Also bought 50% of the GW minis I plan to buy this year.

Yeah. Getting this guy was pretty much a given, unless I for some reason was going cold turkey on minis. However, nearly 50 bucks after tax for one person-sized model is pushing it to my limit. The Avatar is next, and after that I will try to be content with the mass of GW models I already own, no matter how cool the new releases may be. Also, I am not super thrilled with some of the design choices on this guy, so I will be risking that 50 bucks and doing some modifications. More on that later.

Thanks for looking!

He looks like he has a lot of potential, but is very much a extreme kinda of sculpt. Kinda torn on getting him myself. Luckily, I’m not a Dark Reaper kind of guy so can push him off for now.

Interesting colors on the slave girl. Those undeshades? or is she going to be very bruised and beaten? The purpleish torso/face looks very odd right now...

Lots of great stuff in here s always, digging the old dark eldar slave girl. Excited to see the modifications and paint on Maugan.

Thanks,

Slave girl is progressing nicely, how’s the champion coming along?

For me, Maugans tattered cloak just doesn’t fit the Eldar aesthetic. It might for his lore, but my head canon has Eldar looking after their things really pristinely. Whatever you end up doing to him, I’m sure he’ll look great

Thanks, guys.

Champ is early WiP, gobert. Hope to get some time in on him this week.

No underpainting, Nev. Just some red ink glazed in to differentiate the skintone/show she may have recently tumbled from a destroyed skimmer. There's Druchii around the eyes, but nowhere else. Probably the crummy lighting making the body pick up some color from the skirt.

I was kind of torn on Maugan Ra, but have grown to love the sculpt the more I see of it. As for mods to the miniature, I took the risk and did one of my own as well. Cannot wait to see our take on him.

Superb work all round youwashock, those drawings are insanely cool. Your Hannah Sharp is an amazing paint job and the mini looks excellent to paint as well.

Excited to see what you do with Maugan Ra, I don't know if he's my favourite sculpt but my mind can be changed.

Excited for the modification! Yeah the new price-hike from GW has pretty much turned me off buying from them for the forseeable future. $50 is too much for one Maugan Ra. I was getting most of my Necrons from Ebay anyway, I think they're going to regret it in the long run (of course they've been raising prices for 30 years so what do I know!).
