Er, as a very loyal (to date) Mierce customer and supporter, I'm more than a little annoyed that the only way to get this Morag sculpt appears to be by spending £100?

That seems rather poor form.

Because I can't see wanting all of this:

T-Shirt (choice of S,M,L,XL,XL,XXL) - £20
Beanie Hat - £10
Pint Glass (568ml) - £10
Pint Tankard Glass (568ml) - £15
Jumbo Mug (465ml) - £10
Bottle Opener Keyring - £2
Black Pen - £2
Black Dry-Wipe Marker Pen - £2
Dice Pouch - £5
Stuff Pouch (ideal for both dice and templates, etc.) - £7.50
Tokens Tin (great for storing your order tokens, exult and dismay tokens in) - £7.50
3m Tape Measure - £5
A0 size Darklands Poster - £7.50
A0 size The Lands of Darkness Poster - £7.50
A0 size Concept Art Poster (the concept is your choice) - £7.50

...just to get that mini.

It feels like Mierce is vastly overestimating the appeal of the Mierce Wolf Logo?

Though I'd have somewhat happily paid £20 to get the massive miniature backlog queue moving faster.

Unfortunately, that wolf logo is one of the very few things I don't aesthetically like about Mierce...

Same. I'd by her outright or maybe in addition to another 20 quid but 100 is a absolute no go.

I'm liking the Beanie, and some of the glassware. I have no use for the posters, or a coffee mug though. Remember, you can put money in, and use it buy anything mierce offers, like Minis or books. You're not limited to just having to use it on Merch.

Yeah, that's how it usually works, but are we confirmed that it is the case here?

Also, I'm kinda not in the mood to give Mierce £100 more right now.

I'm really going to need my own personal Mierce Darklands backlog to get significantly reduced before that happens!

Looks like it's using moneyback under the manage your pledge section at the bottom. But $130 just to get one human figure isn't a very good as in their normal campaigns that usually gets you something much more expensive as a bonus.

Plus, since this is Mierce, they'll probably have an alt version of her in another campaign.

purchasing this reward is the only way you'll ever get your hands on this Morag miniature

Emphasis mine.

Also I was wrong about the low funding, they went with their standard 5000 pounds.

The 'normal' funding point has been £10,000 so this one is lower at £5000

Ya, I just went and checked. Only one miniature based campaign in the past few years was at 5k so I don't know why that stuck in my head.

The sometimes do 'unlocks' (of alternates) at lower numbers before things fund so could be that?

Yeah, I think you're correct. It doesn't even look like the Morag in the concept art, as she is running, and wearing a helmet.

I don't think this is the last we'll see of the Woman from the Isle of Mann...

Do any of you guys have the Nucranca in "packing" status?
Or, indeed, any of you orders?
Mine have been in a solid "Processing" state forever.
I was told June for Branbeca, and Encrusted Thuulac is apparently still in the pipeline...I just want to see how other people are faring.

Man, between the pics of Thuulac and Nucrana in this thread, it's really hard not to imagine starting some sort of "Deep Ones" army . Some really solid production from Mierce lately catching up with the prints!

I love your enthusiasm, but after 2 + years, i'm tired of just waiting, and waiting and waiting for Mierce to actually, you know SHIP THEM!
Let's not even talk about the monsters from Mighty Monsters that have not...even..been sculpted yet!

Ah, well I say that as someone who would consider buying them now that they're finally being cast . I stopped pledging for things that were TBD a long time ago, and started using my credit towards things that were available...

I got £100 left in my monsters pack deal, and £45 in cashback...
I grabbed the nuncrancas as I sold off 2 of them, effectively cashing in some of my moneyback, whilst getting one for myself.

Those are some nice looking concept pieces!

My weakness is giant armored reptiles after all. I'll definitely be grabbing that Araglach model. A Prifdyngwyfern is suprising. I wonder if it would be able to actually lead a warhost? I'd assumed they weren't very bright and would probably have a low authority value.

Also impressed with the elephant centaur fiend as well. I wonder how big that would be?

These aren't going to end up in the current campaign are they?

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

None of these are likely to appear this campaign. Though, there's talk of mats and terrain

With £5,000 approaching we thought we'd give you all even more incentive to get hold of the Miercendise + Morag award... by giving you a very limited edition version of Sáthach too!

Sáthach is a limited edition resculpt of the original Sáthach miniature by Bob Plociennik, and she'll never be available outside of the Miercendise + Morag reward in this form. There'll only ever be 100 of her!

She is a sell-sword of the Érainn and, in Darklands, can train up your warriors to give them a greater Acuity than they would normally have, so she's a fantastic addition to any host.

This 'Miercendise' kickstarter...

Right. I'm not a regular Mierce Customer. I backed the first two campaigns heavily. I bought the rules. I've dabbled in a few more. I pick up the miniatures occasionally and keep an eye on what's being developed. It's stunning stuff. I look out for it at bring and buys and try and get a few discounts when I can. I think there's potential for a rich game universe from the scant background that has been revealed and through the uh... inaccessible at times although historically accurate gaming. So I get I'm not the target audience for most kickstarters. I can only somewhat overlook the flaws for the stunning miniatures and I'm not an auto-supporter like many others in this thread. I also understand there's been production problems and delays and all the usual stuff that goes with running a miniatures company and I sympathise.

However this... this just puts me off. It puts the people I constantly try and advertise the miniatures to off. "Hey guys I know the game is pretty inaccessible but maybe we could use some cool Snakemen for Ghost Archipelago? Frostgrave? That new AoS army could do with a sexy monster, jump on when theres another kickstarter and get some discounts. Don't go for anything too new, there's a backlog. Oh it's for merchandise and tokens to play the inaccessible game, but if you jump in at £100 we get a sweet mercenary figure. Wait where are you all going? Wait... why am I advocating for this?"

Then the curtains close on my gakky one man Edinburgh Festival show. Is there a point to my whining? Not really, I think I just need to vent and feel like I'm heard like all humans who end up invested in companies. I understand the reasoning behind this. I try to anyway. However at this point... well I don't see any point in throwing money in any further. And that's the beauty of the kickstarter model. Don't like it don't back it. But I so really want to like it.

Models as always are stunning. Let's see if my resolve crumbles when SAGA comes out with monster rules.

Is that Sáthach or is it the Sun King, Louis XIV of France, fallen through a time displacement hole from the 17th century to the 7th?

Not a fan of that render, so skipping out on the £100 pledge this time around remains in play!

Glad to see them remaking her. The original was was in the group of really skinny/tiny figures that looked small even for 25mm.

I could also ask, as I have before, why Bob is spending his time creating new sculpts when so much work is outstanding from KS's that completed, and took my money over 2 years ago?

Why is THIS mini, and some unnecessary resculpts more important than STARTING on the as yet unsculpted work from Mighty Monsters etc etc...
The priority shown by Mierce seems to be put something shiny out for the rabid fans to plonk down more cash for, and let the ridiculously delayed miniatures that we PAID FOR over two years ago wait longer?

Bob, why is your precious time being spent NOT getting that backlog cleared?

I'm sorry, I don't understand..

Look at this new kickstarter...£4000 pledged from just 50 backers...that's an average of £120 each.
For T-shirts and mugs? Really?
Every time I see something like this I have to wonder when will the money I committed be honoured?

I am NEVER backing another Mierce kickstarter unless they can prove to me they are COMMITTED to doing what they should, get that ancient backlog cleared ABOVE ALL ELSE.

I agree on the reculpts but backlog of things that even need to be printed and cast (due to the resculpts) that I doubt Bob doing this will really delay that other stuff any further. But I suspect the resculpts are in part to raise monkey outside of KS and keep what little traditional cash flow Mierce has since they aren't running the normal KSer every 3-4 months right now. And if having Bob do that means keeping the lights on then I'm not super upset as I'd rather this happen then Mierce close up shop. So it's kind of the lesser of 2 evils even though all that new stuff really is annoying me.
