Hello fellow freaks.

My thoughts today spiraled around the possibility of the full resurrection of the Primarchs......I know, I know...GW would never sanction this ( officially )....

...and then.....I thought, if by some strange happen-stance, GW actually did go down this path, what would be the outcome? For one thing, you have some definative miniatures ( probably under scale! ) of the surviving Primarchs, and you'd have some monster stats, but what else would happen??

My proposal is this, why don't we ( Dakka Dakka ) members resurrect the Primarchs ourselves. We have already done mass sculpting commissions before, we could define the Primarchs ourselves, and agree ( as a community ) on the stats of the "New" Primarchs.....wouldn't it be that simple?

We wouldn't need the fluff, becuase we would be creating the "new" fluff as it were! Doing this may even force GW hand, as it realises that the future of WH40K has been stripped from its grasp!!!

On this same point....the exsisting Deamon Princes that were Primarchs could also be reinstated into the gaming world, we could develop stats for these also.......imagine what could be done.....

Soo...what do you think?

I think Bolter and Chainsword have come up with some stats for the Primarchs, so you could check over there and see what they've done already.

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!
