So some faction is getting a new terminator (???) librarian? I have a terminator librarian for DW on spru let me go take a looks and see if they look similar or not. Unless someone else can let us know for sure (not that big a marine player).

That's exactly what it is. The poster was a troll, posted a picture of the Grey Knight Terminator sprue.

Piece #139 is Frag Grenades.

He flipped it upside down and cropped it. Thought it was hinky since there's no posting of a new Rumor Engine anywhere today.

Think you need to read the natfka article again! It never claimed to be a new image and even cites the source as someone who recently bought some grey knight terminators and noticed the similarity to the rumour engine picture.

I'm surprised no ones suggested that Farsights mysterious sword that drains life out of it's victims isn't one of the five fingers.

His sword predates the whole Ynead thing though doesn't it? Not to mention we don't know what type of xenos sword he has. It is rumored to be eldar ,but it could also be Necron or something entirely new.

It's described as "cronophagic" which sounds very necron to me as opposed to Eldar.

The Hags fingers predate the Eldar doesn't she since she's one of their gods? Unless it's been described already, it could easily explain his power.

There is no reference I can find to its age, but the way its described and even looks precludes it from being an Eldar sword. Wiki Dawn Blade. If it's a Ynead sword I will cry tears.

Perhaps the remaining two blades aren't being held by the Eldar, but by other races? My guess would b that one of the blades is the Dawn Blade that is wielded by Commander Farsight. It would definitely be a bizarre twist, but who knows what GW will pull?

Just like the Visarch and Yvraine turned out to be no one we already knew, I doubt the last two swords are ones that we've already heard of. Wouldn't be surprised if they're not found over the course of these books.

Yeah the species that made the dawn blade must be huge. Would be funny if it was a one handed weapon for them too.

Well since the Yncarne has an alternate weapon load out that is two blades as a set, perhaps they are it. That makes 5 after all.

unless the weapons can change shape like Abaddon's? But seriously, most likely all 5 exist in Eldar hands. It doesn't sound like something they'd let go. As far as these three being nobodies, that's only because they were nobody before the Fracture of Biel-Tan. Whoever holds the other two, we could assume they'd have arisen to great power. Sort of like the Rings of power in Lord of the Rings. It's not something that just goes un-noticed.

Yeah but your talking about the fluff from a WD. For all we know she has 3 of 5 at the start of gathering storm 2, but by the end of the story she has the final two and they could be the alternate weapons in the kit. It makes no sense to give the Yncarne an alternate load out otherwise.

It's an avatar... I'm sure it can do all kinds of things, like reshape weapons to suit it's needs. Or maybe the weapon itself can change. 40k has a history of them.
