Video (or is that Giteo ?) is great. I do have a tree in my yard dropping some old limbs like a lepper, so I might get to tackle this sooner rather than later .

More mushrooms. I've decide that I just can't have too many, which is nice as whenever I get the yen for a terrain project I can work on these without spending any money.

Spent the night thinking up an easier way to do them. Have figured out several species... Aminita sp., morels, Russula, boletes, etc. Basically any capped mushroom.. Also sorted out how to do shelf fungi which will be the next project.

When I get it all sorted I'll do a video on the process.

Loving the shrooms. I now imagine a curious chef wandering on mid battle, of course, ignoring the carnage around them.

That would be unfortunate. These are all members of the genus Aminita... which are poisonous.

I love those logs. I think the variety of scatter terrain, objectives, etc is what makes a great table, especially for small skirmish games like Bushido.

Again, nice video . I like the spinning table, almost makes me want to raid the LEGO stash for some motor parts and make one for when I never do videos .

Some really nice scatter terrain by Oshiro. My budget got crushed recently which means I’ll be building my own terrain elements for a while, but they have some great pieces to steal ideas from. The oranges you painted look very real and juicy .

Shrooms look great. I have a few methods myself so looking forward to seeing how you do it.

New video is up. This is basically a mycology lecture... but I do scribble a lot on napkins and go for a walk in the woods. The first actual tutorial will be on it's way no later than tomorrow morning. Kinda depends on how long it takes to process the video tonight.

The first of the "real" Micromycotuts is up. We learn how to make and paint Cortinarius violaceus, the "violet web cap" mushroom. This went way long. Going to have to work on that!

I guess this is more of a Macromycotut... *sigh* The rest of them will be MUCH shorter. This is the video that explains the techniquest that we'll be using throughout the rest of the series so it's longer than I anticipated.

Lovely textures there. Have you considered puffballs also?

Oh yes, there is a long list. Puff balls, cup fungi, maybe even corals if I can figure out how to make them.

New micromycotut is up. Yes, these will go on for a while and then I'll get them out of my system and i'll go back to painting my minis (which is what I should be doing). For the time being though... these are fun. This is also half the length of my last one. I'm hoping to get them down to 10 minutes once I don't have to focus so much on introducing new techniques.
