It seems like all I do is make video's now-a-days... but I've also never gotten an advanced copy of models before to play with. What follows are a series of build videos for GCT's new Bushido "Wolf Clan". The first 3 are fairly long as I do the prep (filing and such) on-camera before I do the actual build. The last one is what I should have done for all of them after the first... the prep is off-camera, but I note any special issues and do the build on-camera.

Not sure how interesting any of these will be to folks here... but they do represent what I've been up to recently.

Admittedly, this is not the best painted figure in the world... but it's the Bushido equivalent of a grot, so a functional paint job works fine for me.

Thanks for the comments guys! Have a second archer for you. This is one of the new sculpts and really demanded a better effort from me. Still a very simple paint job but a much more technically proficient one.

I love those Bushido Bakemono figures. I've wanted to get some for a while to add to my samurai collection.

Looking good. Are the eyes and teeth finished? They look like a wash of some kind might just take the edge off them.

I forgot to wash the teeth. The eyes stay as they are though. Evil glint of light in the black eyes.

Black eyes, cool. Another thought then - some gloss varnish on the eyes (and perhaps tongue while you are at it) might draw the attention back to the eyes as a whole rather than just the glints.
