I used Testors model master paint 'Ivory' was in the name. I don't recall the exact words. I wouldn't recomend it though, I had a lot of problems with it and had to use tamiyas clear over it before it was fit to paint on. I have piddled around with the idea of using the Vitruvian Man but I couldn't find the right place for it. I'll photoshop it on my battle barge and if I like it I'll use it. Great Idea btw SonofGulliman.

These models are like Chuck Norris. No matter what you do to them, they will always come out unscathed.

This is absolutely beautiful work, but, I do feel the need to point out that in BFG, the bases are very important to the game. So, while pretty, your bases aren't really usable.

So I was googling some Renaissance art... I'm in with the greats now! My land raider showed up in the search. I got a laugh out of it anyway.

Finished up 2x Fenrisian Wol... Lions. And started on a Ragnar Blackmane counts as and some wolfen.

smeezilla = I undercoated the whole model in bleached bone and then washed with ogren flesh, devlun mud and badab black in varies places and layered it up pretty good and then started adding highlights of bleached bone to bring out the higher points. I also looked up a lot of lion pictures on google to find some I liked. Hope that helped some.

how did you accomplish the lion shoulder pads? they are awesome! can't wait to see the whole squad painted.

They're normal SM shoulder pads with some bits from the white lion chariot sprues for fantasy.

Okay, you are not only a master of miniature murals, but the textures that you achieve are really excellent. It's hard to make simple washes and highlights look that good. Bang-up work.

10 internetz to the person that knows what I've started here.





I've started the basic shape with foam board. From here I'll go into detail with plasticard and my bits box chalked full of left over marine and guard vehicle bits. I just have to find a way to make landing gear and the 2 engines and I'm set. I'm trying jto build the whole thing for 50 bucks or under. So far I've spent 4 dollars. It will receive my chapter paint scheme upon completion. Wish me luck!

Wow...i just stumbled in here and it makes me want get some painting lessons, or possibly quit altogether lol.

I think I have to steal your vehicle marble technique, and by steal I mean attempt on an old Rhino and hope it looks half as good as yours.

And of course, I won't even be bothering to try anything like your freehand murals. Just amazing, really.

Your wol... lions are also making me repaint my Ogre Hunter's 'tusks, lol.
